Hey guys this is my first attempt at making a Grey Knight army. Let me start by saying that I really like terminators and dreadnoughts so i figured I'd start there. I'm on the fence about going DW or GK terminator force but in the end I wanted to try GK out first. Let me know your thoughts please!

just one thing; you say this is a list that is meant for fun and that you love terminators...

BUT WHERE'S DRAIGO?

srsly though, draigo IMO draigo is one of the most fun characters, costing more than a land raider, but having a 2+ 3++ save with a nasty stat line. I use him as an ally, him and a squad of termies, killing everything in quite a large portion of the board. sure, they may end up being eaten alive by tyranid rending claws sometimes, but... did I mention the 3++?
People say that he isn't feasible in a 1500 pt game, but if it's friendly game the WTFN?

If your playing for fun why no dreadknights, take out the dreadnoughts, can the terminators deep strike?

He likes the noughts over the knights. Yes, GK termies can deep strike

One of the main reasons anyone plays warhammer 40k is for the classic eyerolls!

IMO when an army is meant for fun it should be a mixture of cheesy and fluffy. I think that it means that you're trying to play a silly match which will invariably involve some planned match between mephiston and draigo which ends hilariously when one of them fails four 2+ saves in a row. I've been on both ends of that stick and so long as you can laugh at yourself you'll be fine

Oh, and I also agree with the people saying you dreadknights are fun, as it's funny to watch the headless horseman zip around the map slicing and dicing. But I suppose you don't just want silly models, so "tactical" giraffe would agree with your decision to take some ground holders.

While you're at that, draigo makes palidins troops... so go figure
