Fun fact, the IG and Ork commanders have abilities for instant reinforcing squads for free. For each part of a unit that dies you get some resource back. Free Currency.
Yeah I think I thought it was just a level setpiece... like it was only specific to that level or something.

The Judgement is actually pretty fun as a psuedo SpaceHulk mission (if you dont want to mess with the actual SpaceHulk mod for DoW2)

Well that was fun.. finished up the Space Marine campaign.... I like how the dog dies at the end and then it was all a dream but then the ghost was the mother.

After you finish with all the Retribution "newness" and want a little more, try out the ELITE mod, it is simply awesome and runs great. Just Google DOW 2 Retribution Elite Mod.
A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. Loved DoW II - Chaos Rising, but absolutely hated Retribution. Way too many units, zero tactics, just spam to win. DoW II was such a good game due to its high tactics appeal with specialized squads. I don't want to control an entire army -.-
Granted, though, "tactics" usually meant "Throwing the force commander into the fray" to win. Or just take the Dreadnought.

Or play on something higher than easy Or challenge yourself to an all shooty/stabby build, or flip the units specializations

Played it on Hard, and it still was ridiculously easy. The force commander is nigh-unkillable and the Dreadnought is just a joke. I mean, that guy can easily almost single-handedly win missions by spamming Q. And...that's kinda wrong. Cyrus, on the other hand, is so incredibly useless. Blerk.

Your kidding about cyrus right? You DO realize he's the one you have to play...y'know, intelligently? Not just throwing him at things? Chaos rising hits and he gets even more broken with free revives, heals and explosives coming from his energy pool

Ha, yeah, Cyrus is so stupidly broken in the first two games. Lost a TON of power in the third.

Precisely. FC, Tarkus, Avitus and Dread and, with CR, throw Tarkus out in favor of the Psyker. There. Right-click anything and win. Taaaaaaaaacticaaaal!
