Hey Dakka,
I am planning to equip a Chaos cultist with an Imperial Bolter, so far I've only found the SM Scouts to be an option for an arm swap. Is there another squad I've overlooked that is equipped with Bolters and Finecast?
Thanks!

Scouts are plastic dude.
Are you actively looking for Finecast Bolters, and if so, might I ask why?

He is looking for models with bolters for his chaos cultists whether or not made from finecast.
Besides older metal models, there are no other bolters other that marine bolters.

I'm guessing this is for Inq. henchmen purposes? I created a similar thread a while back and unfortunately there arn't too many options outside of scouts.

Ah, I read it as he had cultists he wanted to glue bolters on to.
Yeah, non-Marine bolters, outside of the all metal Sisters range, are thin in the ground.

Scouts are plastic? OK, thanks for the clarification. The point of the search is to find plastic or resin arms equipped with bolters that I can equip my cultists with.
My preference is to do as a close to a straight up arm swap as I can.

Hmm, thought there were more. I know I have an old HQ with a bolter, one of my favorite sculpts. Looks to be out of print now.

You can pick up plastic bolters without arms or hands from the tactical squad for not much from Bitz sellers, removing the existing weapon and gluing a bolter in place isn't an arm swap, but it is about as simple a conversion as you can get?

They have 4 different types of bolters for sale up on Forgeworld.
If you're looking them with the arms already attached onto them, I don't think there are any outside of scouts.

Fantastic, thanks for all the feedback. The Catachan Command is a good looking kit. I missed that during my scan of the catalogue, thanks!
It does look like I'll be carving the auto's off the cultists in exchange for bolters.
And yes, I am working towards a Warband with Bolter armed Acolytes.

Both Catachan and Cadian Command boxes have bolters inside them for the Commanders to wield. They are not super impressive but hey it is a giant hand cannon!

Any Space Marine infantry sprue has plastic bolters. Just cut the pistol grip off and you can glue that to the hand of your cultist.

unfortunately, the Cadian set only comes with the Bolt Pistol, no Bolter...
the Catachen set comes with both, though the Bolt Pistol is just loose, not attached to an arm...
the Cadian set does have some awesome bits in it, like the bionic arm with Power Sword, the small Power Fist, and loads more...
cheers

Utilizing Careful Highlighting

Your best bet for easy bolter conversions is gonna be using the melee weapon cultists, lopping off the melee weapon, and sticking a bolter in their hand. This might be a problem as newer marine kits come with the bolter attached to the hand on the sprue, so you'd need to find older kits with separate bolters.
