It looks pretty good, however I'm an advocate of either running everything in pods or almost nothing in pods.

I agree but i didn't have the funds to buy the 4th drop pod and i thought if anyone would run outside the assault would be best

Hmm, as far as strategy goes it looks like you will have one rhino squad to either sit back on an objective, or sit back, wait a little bit, then move to a midfield objective. The weapons on the rhino squad are fairly close range though, so that doesn't help with them firing out of it.

You have two drop pods, one will come down first. I would bring down Dain first, and then Merek. Maybe see if you can squeeze in a locater beacon on Blazing Comet, that way the second pod doesn't scatter should you need to come in around the same area. You may not get much use from the MM in a drop pod unit, as they will be moving around quite a bit.

I would also hold the assault squad and chappy in reserves to deep strike. Having a beacon on one of the pods will help immensely as well, because the last thin you want to do is mishap your HQ deepstrike. This will ensure you land within range and in that nice piece of cover or behind that LoS terrain. Otherwise deepstriking a small 6man unit with just 3+ armor can go very badly.

Thank you very much for the help. Actually i forgot to fix this but the rhino got drooped and i swapped it for another pod and set the TAC squads with the same load out but now i know what i can do. Also out of the heavies what would you recommend over the MM?

I would swap it around to take a heavy flamer and regular meltagun. Heavy flamer gives you a better overwatch, because you automatically get d3 hits with it. The regular flamer is used for anti-infantry and shooting in to cover, but your bolters on that squad are just as good at anti-infantry, just not good at ignoring cover, so swapping standard flamers to meltaguns gives you the ability to shoot some rear armor vehicles, or take down something with high Str, like MCs. The meltaguns then give you the ability to wound tanks, which bolters can't do. So by making this change you are filling in a gap. And the Mult-melta is a heavy weapon so moving and shooting means snap shots, and you dont need that huge range the MM provides because you are going to be using a drop pod to get right next to them.

I think that's a good choice in swapping the rhino for the drop pod.

Oh yeah! I knew there was a reason I never ran one, haha. Anyway, take a regular flamer and no heavy weapon at all. Use the points somewhere else.
