Starting dabbling in a pure Inquisitorial army that could conceivably compete (sort of). Came up with an MSU looking thing that, imo, could hold its own. Though admittedly probably not against the kings of the field these days. Thoughts?

Inquisitors and Coteaz plop in with the Plasma servitors and ablative wounds to avoid mindlock and make a 36'' line of angriness (prescience around). Psyback Acolytes play double duty as mobile gunners and anti AV14, Psyflemen do what Psyflemen do, Stormraven does what Stormraven does.

i think some chimera would serve your plasma canon servitors a lot personally (otherwise they would be too fragile)
like taking out a dread and dozer blades on psybacks for the 3 chimera for instance

Certainly an idea. I'd thought that with 1-3 ablative wounds per squad, and behind the Aegis, they should stand sturdily enough. Gotta ask if the durability and added Str5/6 firepower of the Chimeras is worth losing the S8 of the Psyfleman. Probably yes.
