Anybody have better (as in more secure and better looking) spots to attach SGuard wings? Those little nobs on the back of the power armor make it a wee bit crowded…thank goodness I didn't try to paint a fully assembled model. that curved notch is making it a complete pain to pin - I was thinking of trying to attach them on the hoses of the secondary jetpack nozzles near the top. Suggestions? Pics of completed alt glue spots?

Try not using them at all. I never cared for them.

Or, lose the jet pack entirely and just have wings.

Or, don't use them at all...from what I've seen, they're generally a waste of points...

I pinned mine ... I have not finished painting them but they will not pop off when I am finished with them.

Now, we like big books. (And we cannot lie. You other readers can’t deny, a book flops open with an itty-bitty font, and a map that’s in your face, you get—sorry! Sorry!)

Was it hard to drill into the wing and that knob the part mounts to? I have both bits painted and I'm afraid of mangling the surface while trying to drill the holes for the pins (since the surface is very rounded and uneven)....

@ imnew and gunzhard: interesting...I never thought to just go without the wings entirely. Nice paintjobs btw, especially cool banner work gunzhard.

@mcrobot: alas, I've glued down and painted the jetpacks so that option is out for me. Nice work! Are those GW wings, or 3rd party (I'm guessing Reaper)?

So this is what I tried...on the hoses to the smaller side thrusters...
