Hi I'm a noob to the whole painting thing so any advice is welcome ...

Orkses is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!  |

Only started painting in Nov and still learning loads, I've so far painted 20 boyz, 10 nobz & a warboss so not much practice on vehicles, I'm in the middle of painting 31 gretchin, 3 grutherds, an ammo runt & painboy grunt. The lesson I have learnt there is not so many models in one go! lol

you will get that with orks im afraid, but its good to do them in 10s as you buy them to keep on top of the horde or it gets a bit overwhelming (my problem at the moment) but its good not to rush them either. Deffkopta looks great by the way good job on the checker pattern.

Cheers from now on only 10 at a time max lol but I must admit now I've nearly finished them they are looking good. lol Next on the paint list is the other 2 deffkopptas and 3 killa kans so a bit of variety.
Wasn't sure if I should attempt to weather the deffkoptta or even how I would do that any suggestions would be good.

That's the other thing a fully painted Mob is always a great sight, you should put pics up =)

I've seen so maybe dull, grey, unpainted Deffkoptas (I have something like 20 or 30), that I've groan to hate the models. And then I go and see some punk like you make a great paintjob that reminds me how good the model actually is once painted.
