An earlier poster said the child may encounter this in real life. Thats true. But following that logic you you could put an alcoholic, a meth head, an abusive family member, or even a child molester on the show. Now the show is starting to look more like Law & Order SVU.
For five year olds? I just don't see the need.
But as its been pointed out, i must be stupid.

Alcoholics, meth heads, abusive family members and child molesters on the show are people with serious problems, some of whom represent serious threats to the children. Same sex couples share none of those features. Complaining about the presence of lesbians on the show makes as much sense as complaining that the show features a fireman as a character. Unless, of course, you think there is something immoral about lesbians... in which case carry on complaining, I guess.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

I'm just glad I never have to watch the Disney Channel ever again.

In more important news, the Lego Movie is out!

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

What if you think firemen are immoral?

My country has a rainbow flag flying over parliament right now - it's safe to say people are overreacting to the lerzbenz on tv.

Thanks man, now my life is ruined. I'm pretty sure I'll be felating a few gentlemen on my way home on the train now, thanks reds8n. Thanks.

Seriously though, why in the crap is this even an issue for people? I will never understand why people care so much about how other people live their lives.

Most of these people who say such things would obviously fail, because they're not smart enough to make pets of. Unfortunately, they're the same people who drive and vote.

I have to cite my cousin who worked 30 years in social care since I just found this out from him. Direct quote:

"In my 35 years as a public child welfare caseworker and supervisor I only remember taking one child from a gay couple and placing that child into state custody. The hundreds of other children were removed from one man and one woman who had brutalized, raped, and/or murdered one or more children in their care. I remember several gay couples who cared for and sometimes adopted the brutalized, raped survivors."

I have to say, I'm surprised you support gay adoption.

That clip of the episode is super sweet. People must have had to expend a lot of energy on hardening their hearts to get angry over it.

After watching the clip posted the episode was suggested in the window and I skipped through to see all the "Two Mom" parts.

Just perplexes me even more that people got so worked up about it (not the death threats people because those kinds of psychos get everywhere) but the mothers against gays or whatever they called themselves in the OP.

I support people where a child can have a loving enviornment. My cousin has told me a few stories where children have been horribly abused and I can't see leaving them in a hellish enviornment if thete is far better they could be living in.

Be it our differences are many but I think I finally found something we can agree on

"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. That makes the point really well, thanks for posting that.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another.
