I made a Full Papa Nurgle list a few weeks ago and I was wondering what you guys think (I mainly focus on having fun since Nurgle isn't that good when doing solo nurgle)

HQ:
-Great Unclean One (ML3, Grimoire of True Names, Greater Reward)

Troops:
- 2x 20 Plaguebearers (Plaguebanner, Instrument of Chaos)

Elites:
-5x Beasts of Nurgle

HS:
- Soul Grinder (MoN, Baleful Torment)
- Daemon Prince (MoN, Warp-forged armour, Greater Reward (for balesword), Greater Reward, Daemonic Flight, ML 3)

Advice/Opinons?

There's not really any offensive threat on the table. Everything will just get kited and shot at.

This. The reason why nurgle units aren't the best is people get carried away with their plague marines and Great Unclean Ones and forget that all they're bringing is bolters CCWs and a MC that will never reach combat more than once.

The only units that fix this are FMCs like daemon princes, and fast attack units like plague drones, which are great but 45 points each.

If you want a chance, I'd suggest taking lots of daemon princes and plague drones, use the grimoire to buff up your drones, and take a portal glyph to make up for your lack of troops.

So If I were to take this would it be any better?

HQ:
- GUO (ML 3, Grimoire, Greater reward)
- Daemon Prince(MoN, Greater, Lesser, Daemonic flight, WF-armour)
Troops:
2x 15 plaguebearers (both with instruments and banners)

Heavy Support:
- Soul Grinder (Baleful torrent, MoN)
- Soul Grinder( Baleful torrent, MoN)
- Daemon Prince (MoN, Greater, Daemonic flight, WF-armour)

This list would be more offensive and not just, 'sit on the objective and wait for the game to end'. I could also replace the second daemon prince for 5 plague drones with death's heads and rot probiscic or venom sting

Your list is illegal, your HQ DP is actually a HS, which gives you 4 HS, which is illegal.

You have too many troops still, drop down to just 2X10 PBs and pick up the portal on a DP

I would really find a way to cram some drones in there, but dont bother with death heads. run during the shooting phase.

I'll try to redo it and fit some drones in, but can they run during shooting phase? Since they are daemons of Nurgle so they can't run because of slow and purposefull can they?
