So, some height, distance and length related questions:
How tall is a space marine?
How far is six inches converted to meters? in the WFBF/WH40K world?
How tall is an Emperor-Class Battle-Titan?
How long is a Land Raider
How far is one inch in meters in the WHFB/WH40K world?

Thanks!

Wish I had the answers for you, someone will pop up soon with a list for you...first thing to realize is that vehicles or infantry...however you want to look at it...are not to scale to each other.

Just trying fitting 10 marine bodies in your rhino.

Um I do know that a space marine is generally around 8ft tall in power armor, as far as titans go, in helsreach a tech priest was running out of I think an Imperator(don't quote me) and could barely walk when the thing's foot came down it shook the earth so much

space marines are somewhere between 6-8ft tall (conflicting height based scources)

6" is a measurement for distance utilised by the rules to uniform the movement of a given type of model, there is no literal 6" of our measurement equates to X distance traveled.

Titans of all shapes and sizes are huge, the largest imperial titan (to which I think your refering) carries a city on its back, and each leg houses an entire IG platoon.

Click for possibly accurate to table top measurement

Click for data sheet reference on what it looks like stood next to a warhound

A land raider is roughly the same length as delivery truck, around 6 wheel based one like the coka-cola trucks on the christmas adverts in terms of length. roughly I'd guess at being about half of that wide.

your last point is answered the same as the 6" one, there is no literal translation.

2.5 meters going by all the HH books... 8 ft in other books. (one marine was 7' 6" and described as being short for a space marine)

and 7.2 feet in that one drawing.......

Table-top measurements are abstractions. If things were true to scale, the vehicles would all be very much larger and, if the SM models are accurate, then every other human model reduced in size by 1/4 or so. Given that, there's no way to determine how far 18" on the tabletop is, as some weapons fire that far (implying that it is hundreds of meters) and yet some infantry can run that far in the same nebulous span of time, while others can't.

The Emperor class battle titan is the size of an average 12 year old. THAT'S THE MODEL! It's physically impossible to buy, you have to make it yourself...

... it's not *quite* that big, but the model is fething huge. Meter, one and one-quarter meters tall or so...

Marine size... You're going to get everything between 6 and 10 feet depending on who you ask.

It's one of the most inconsistent parts of the setting. We got a official 7' statement once... Which was then drowned under a storm of contradictions, mayhem, QQ and general combinations of fanboyism and SM-hatred.

The result is an utter mess and in the end you'd be best off simply interpreting it as your preferred result.

A Space Marine is around seven feet tall.
