Hey everyone so even though I'm starting a nid army at the moment the EDT caught my eye. This may have been a waste of time but if not it might be something ill consider pursuing. Here's my idea for an 1850 EDT army!

5 Flyers, 49 infantry models with 4+ sv (2, 5++), 9 plasma guns, 6 meltaguns, 6 plasma pistols, 6 power fists, 6 TL lascanons, 4 scoring units.
Ideally what I'm thinking is the CCS and 2 plasma squads deploy in their Valkyries while the commissar and 2 melta squads hitch a ride with the Vendettas and outflank. After the Valkyries drop off their squads they act as close air support, plasma is the base of fire, and the meltas and Vendettas go tank/FMC/MC hunting. I don't know what to do with the remaining 10 pts so any advice would be awesome. If this list gets a good response I will most definitely start an EDT army. Also other than locals saying that they don't want to play this army is this list legal in GW sponsored tournaments? Thanks everyone and pardon the typos/format as I'm posting from my phone.

That looks like an fun army to play with and against, but is PF's that good on guardsmen? i dont play IG but even with SM i dont go into PF's anymore because people tend to take them out before they can do anyting.

GW does not allways allow IA army's after what i have seen. btw is this ment to be a compedetiv army?

It was, Ideally I was thinking it would be a kind of secondary army to build while im painting and building.... 90 plus termagants and hormagaunts lol. If its not legal in tourney i wont even bother though.

Depends on which tourney. Some allow IA lists and some don't.
You could just make vanilla guard using the EDT models
