Here are a couple of shots of the start of my ork army. A mob of 20 shoota boys, their battle wagon, and the warboss.

And a looted wagon with a KFF mech. Lower portion of wagon is a 3d printed Leman Russ.

3D printing - stick it to GW where it really hurts!

yeah.. I see every miniature company needing to adapt in the very near future because of 3d printing.. I'm curious how they'll handle it... maybe soon instead of actually making miniatures they will sell kits that come with the printing medium and a file to print the kit you want.. thats awesome tho how well your little waaagh is looking!

In your dreams! a license to print unlimited amount of kits? corporations says no. There would be no way to ensure that they charged enough as the range of use is 0 - infinity. I imagine what they'll do is move to selling there own 3D printed models and ban the use of non-GW printed models in GW stores along side pulling down anything that they think infringes their patterns.

But myself, im a big advocate of 3D printing and am looking forward to one day hopefully putting one together myself (although not a fan of 3D modelling - its rather dull imo, prefer hand sculpting - need something that reverse engineers shapes into a 3D pattern!!)

And about the actual thread:

The first photo could use another take, as its rather blurry, but overall you have a nice strong red and the icy blue top knots work well to contrast this only thing id suggest is some dirty washes on the vehicles, looking rather pristine, but thats personal taste.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.
