OK my question is about the fates of the different Night Lords characters.

Ok we know Talos, First Claw, Crow Man, and Curze are dead.

Variel, Malcharion, and Zombie Raptor are alive.

What about: Septimus, Deltrian, Octavia, Sahaal and Mita Ashen(I also included people who they picked up along the way that are integral to the Night Lords stories.

I really hope Septimus and Octavia are alive, they were the mortal foils for the Legion giving us a better take on the Night Lords than Talos did.

We can assume Septimus and Octavia are dead because we have Decimus show up at the end of the book. Decimus being their son that they were trying to keep away from Variel.

Maybe their still alive and have benefited from being the parents of the leader of a Legion, maybe their doing a Kor Pharon sort of thing and are now lording their new position over jerks like Variel.

As for where Oct and Sept, pretty much just unknown. Although IIRC they had the Night Lords symbol tattooed onto their backs/burned, so I doubt they could go anywhere near the inquisition or their agents.

Now THAT I absolutely agree with. If alive, they are hiding out on some Imperial (or fringe-Imperial) backwater world, carving out some small piece of happiness for themselves.

Yeah, but this particular bit of discussion doesn't deal with the overarching plot, but rather the VERY END of the series. There are tons of people who still haven't read the books. They can't unsee something, but it costs us nothing to spoiler our posts.

That kinda makes sense considering that blood is everything to these guys, sense Sp and Octav have Legionesque duties it makes sense they could only be trusted with guiding the ship, infiltrating other ships, repairing weapons if they had Legion Blood in them.

Also ADB said he based some of his ideas on the Sicilian Mafia and they have a lot of blood rituals.

For anyone who plays Deathwatch, the Curse of the Carcharodons reads like a psych profile of Curze.

Forgeworld does seem to have a thing for loyalist chapters possibly made from traitor geneseed or at least having considerable amount in common with specific traitor legions

Minotaurs => World Eaters

Carcharodons => Night Lords

Red Scorpions => Emperor's Children
