Hey folks,

I am working on some light Fluff for my chapter and a name is proving problematic.

I know I want to be Imperial fist successors (to use their Chapter ability)

This is my paint scheme -



I was thinking Iron Fists but that is a bit close to Iron hands to me...

Admantium Fists?

Suggestions?

Hands in the dark.
The hands of the night.
The argent fists.

Fists of Ferrum? Steeled Will? Fists Exemplar?

If I may ask, why is just one fist grey? Some sort of symbol? Or just a glitch.
As for name well if you are going for a IF sucsessor may I suggest something like these names.

Templars Of Steel
The Oathsworn

One hand is coloured as a sort of homage to the Crimson Fists who are brothers in Gene Seed to us.

"Right hands of the Emperor" is a bit wordy...
Steel Wardens or Adamantium Guard or something is a bit better if you want to incorporate metal into it.

Sons of Dorn is already taken. although it is a cool one, anything with fist/dorn/hammer is usually the first to do with a Fist successor,

you could use something to do with a metal or stone, or you could use there slightly Prussian theme that's going on? with their junkers model of behavior. they can get away with Roman themes too, not as much as Ultramarines though.

What do you want your chapter to be like? What is their character like? Having a theme might help, I've wanted to do a Greek style Imperial fist successor for a while now, that the Chapter planet was set at a classical Greece level of technology and the chapter prefers it that way so it produces better recruits. I just think knowing a bit about them could help you come up with a name? maybe?

What he said. When I write if I havent come up with a name for something I put it in chevrons like this <shipname>. Which reminds me to go back and change it later. Once you get into your fluff the name might jump out at you?

I gotta be honest, that paint scheme isn't impressing me.

Black Templars+Iron Hands=meh.

The fact that it can also be described as "Grey-scale Crimson Fists" doesn't help either.
