I was looking at the Inquisition codex and I noticed something potentially important: Unlike in the Sisters of Battle E-book, which now lists Death Cult Assassins as having two Power Swords, Inquisition-based Assassins are still listed as having 2 Power *Weapons.* Does this mean that, as long as I use the Inquisition book to take the Death Cult Assassins, I can still bring, say, a Power Axe and a Power Maul? Or a Power Sword and a Power Axe?

That is what a power weapon means.

Also keep in mind, Inquisition codex death cult assassins =/= Sisters of Battle DCA's (Grey Knights also have DCA's so that's 3 instances of the same unit name in 3 different codex's)

And don't for get Tactical Marines across all the Marine codex. Depending on which edition the codex was written for, the prices and gear lists were different.

Yep, that is what it means. So long as every model in a given detachment is from the same codex (so no mixing rulesets like putting grey knight assassins in a sisters of battle detachment) as every other, feel free to use what that codex states for them: Which in that case can be any of the power weapons.

I'm not going to touch on wether or not modifying that counts as MFA, it has been done to death.

MFA is such a dubious term anyways. I personally only get mad at MFA if it's just plain dumb. (For example, guardsmen all lying on their bellies to hide better, or someone standing on a three foot tower of rocks to get better LOS. Or, for that matter, any model made intentionally larger and more solid than he should be to block LOS.)

Yeah I tend not to care at all unless it's particularly blatant either, I only mentioned it because Deathcult Assassins are one of the more contested models where that sort of issue comes up. They've shown up in several sources and the official model is only available with a very limited weapon-set. (either a single sword with one pose, or what appears to be a sword and dagger with the 2nd)

Figure I may as well head off that argument at the pass, or at least let you know about it.
