: Aegis Defence Lines
1 Aegis Defence Lines
1 Gun Emplacement (Quad-gun)

-Boss and Nobz Bikers are the hammer... my opponent better deal with them or they're krumping by turn 2.
-The Mekka Junkas are A) there to lob the Shokk Attack templete (S? AP2) and B) potentially tankshock if opponent hits my back line
-Big Trakk are for anti-air with their S7 interceptor/skyfire shots (24 shots per turn)
-Between the Junkas and Trakks, there's 63 Big Shoota Shots at S5
-Vehicles and Grots stay behind the ADL
-Depending on mission, two Shoota boyz on foot are behind the ADL, or trailing the Bikers Boyz...

Still pondering...

That would be useful, but do you even have THAT many Lootas Whembly?

And besides, unless your group has said a big no-no to double FOC, you could potentially get more goodies if you'd want to.

Yeah... that's tried and done... more expensive too.

The BIGGEST issue with this is that it's essentially 3 targets. Something like the list in OP kinda breaks up the target priority a bit.

Anyone played with the mekkajunka before?

I actually do have that many... But 3x 15 Lootas and 3x BW with goodies is just over 1000x for just 3 targets. It's been *meh* for me....

Never played a game or tourny allowing double FOC.

Oh bummer. Well that does limit things then. But hell, if you want to squish just a few more Junkas into the list, you could include a Big Mek, and give him a Junka as a Dedicated Transport (and toss a KFF onto him, just to he sure)

The game doubles FoC at 2000 for a reason. As the points go up and the slots don't, Orks get heavily penalized whilst many of the current power armies can thrive. Your opponents are forcing you into an uneven format.

As for your list, Big Trakks have been updated in the free Dread Mob pdf, so its arguable that you cannot get squadrons of them

Hi, I just read this and I had to open my PDF to find out why the big trakks are not available in squadron (which is terrible as I have just purchased one more just to do that!)

So page 21 of the PDF there is the Big Trakk and no mention of squadron/no squadron, so I think your assumption is right, but furthermore the big trakk is not showing the rule allowing the tank in a normal Ork list.

Zhadsnark is: Zhadsnark ‘Da Rippa’ may be included as part of an army selected from Codex: Orks as a HQ choice.

So does that mean that all the FW units such as Big Trakk, Meka Dread, Mega Dread are now off the menu...?

I still have hopes that this is an oversight and the FOC permission of using Big Trakks in a squadron for the normal Ork dex still exist.

TBH the squadron was a bit ridiculous, but losing them outright from vanilla Orks seems like just an oversight and an example of typical forgeworld quality control

Just play apocalypse. Holy hell gave that a go the other day and 1850 vanilla 40k 'zero comp' etc can suck a D weapon
