out of coteaz, karazamov and valeria whih inquisitor would have the largest following, or the most power to be able to call up IG/SM chapters to fight for them?

Coteaz and Karamazov are both Inquisitor Lords and thus have authority over regular Inquisitors.
Valeria is an Inquisitor.
All three have equal power in commanding other forces of the Imperium however.
Largest following is literally up to the Inquisitor, some have only a handful of followers while others have small armies.

For the Imperium in general, there is no difference at all between an Inquisitor and a Lord Inquisitor. Both are invested with the same authority, which is higher than yours, whoever you might be.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

has an inquisitor and his/her following ever had a war or a battle with another inquisitor and his/her following?

Yes, this happens all the time between Puritan and Radical Inquisitors, or simply Inquisitors who have issues with the methods of other Inquisitors. Such things generally stay low-key, all but invisible to the Imperium as a whole, but in rare instances will spread into open conflict between various factions within the Inquisition, in what is called an Inquisition War.

We don;t know enough about each individuals matrix of favours, debts and alies within such organisatons as the Navy, Church, Mechanicus, Guard and Astartes Chapters.

We also don't know enough abut what enemies within the same organsiations and the Inquisition will try and block them....

@ Champagne - Valeria is in the middle of a Shadow War with another Inqusiitor - see GK Codex. Its not uncommon but also usually kept under wraps - hance "shadow" war

I'm reasonably sure Valeria got a mandate from a Triumvirate of the Inquisition to hunt that guy down.

I really should have expected a sort of Imperial Inquisition when I opened this thread...

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

And ladder of ranks and power is just not how the inquisition works in the Imperium of Men:
In practice,… even the High Lords of Terra are not above their scrutiny, the Inquisition… must still receive these from the Adeptus Astartes, the Imperial Guard, the Adeptus Mechanicus and others.
-- Thorpe, Gav. "HOW THE INQUISITION OPERATES." Inquisitor: The Thorians. N.p.: Games Workshop, 2006. 23. PDF.

Note: Said source book can be accessed on games-workshop.com, under specialised games for Inquisitor.

And each inquisitor, despite having the technical power to command the entirety of the Imperial forces, more often then not relies on their own retinues to deal with problems:
In essence the Inquisition exists not as a force in its own right, but as a guiding hand that allows the Imperium to protect itself ... the Inquisition has millions, probably billions, of other agents and operatives across the Imperium and beyond...

Many threats that arise can be dealt with by the Inquisitor and his retinue without outside assistance. ... either by the simple expedient of removing the individual at the centre of the threat, or by elimination of the core of the enemy group.
-- Thorpe, Gav. "HOW THE INQUISITION OPERATES." Inquisitor: The Thorians. N.p.: Games Workshop, 2006. 23. PDF.

In the case of Lord Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz:
Through alliance, coercion and outright intimidation, Coteaz formed a spy network of contacts, henchmen and infiltrators throughout the sector’s inhabited worlds. ...he sought an army of his own, ever at his beck and call.
Who knows how many of the Formosa Sector’s planetary defence forces are as much Coteaz’s sworn men as they are their commanders’? Or how many hive gangs act under Coteaz’s control, given license to pursue their own petty activities so long as they act as his eyes?
-- "Inquisitors of Renown." Codex: Inquisitor. N.p. Black Library. 2013. mobi

Therefore the de facto power of any inquisitor, of any order, of any title lies in their own makings. Their status, as well as how long they live as an inquisitor depends on how they deal with problems, and what allies/enemies they make. So you can't measure the power of an inquisitor by any standards, they are all "equal".

He'll probably get one to hunt her down in time as well - after all they cut her out of the new Inquisition Codex ;(

Well she is still in the Grey Knights codex, and the Inquisition one is basically GK codex lite.

So great is his expectation that it allows other models to greatly exceed their weapons' normal fire rates. grumble.

She is, however, in a long-distance relationship with Trazyn. :p

As evidenced from this message log which I managed to retrieve from a secure archive on Thracia Primaris*;

+++888.805.M41+++
+++To: Trazyn the Infinite, Archeovist of the Solemnace Galleries+++
+++From: Helynna Valeria, Inquistor+++
+++Subject: Re: A Generous Gift.+++

Lord Trazyn, it is with some trepidation that I receive your gracious missives, as our kinds have not often seen eye to eye. However, the inclusion of such a token of appreciation fills my heart with joy. Though my own collection is surely paltry compared to your own vast museum, it is only through works such as ours that our species can continue to thrive and grow. We are, after all, firmly rooted in the past. In the interests of furthering both our purposes, I send with this message an envoy, whom I would appreciate if you would permit to live. She is a rare treasure, but as yet an unrefined one.

A nascent archivist such as ourselves, she is my protégé, and – if you would grant but this one, small request – perhaps your own. She has a quick wit, and her memory is unusually perfect for an unenhanced human. She is also a fair negotiator, and it is my belief that she will be an asset to your operations as much as she has been to mine. In the interests of achieving a continuing spirit of cooperation, I have also included a small device recently liberated from the Ork. It appears to function as a primitive form of incendiary, however I have no doubt that containing it is well within your capabilities.

+++Message Ends+++

My dear Valeria,
it is with great pleasure that I have received your envoy. It truly is wonderful to discover that there are others of our shared interests in this terribly impermanent world. Ereshkigal is simply a delight to teach, although she was rather put out to discover that emerging from our wormhole devices is wont to destabilise the gift you had her carry so close to her heart. Fortunately, I was quick enough to prevent that section of the complex from imminent incineration, but really, I must insist that in the future you are more careful.

In the spirit of our continued cooperation towards recording history and gathering such priceless trinkets, I have included with this scroll a phial of a rare pathogen that originates from your very own homeworld. In their ignorance, it seems that sadly your ancestors eradicated this disease near the dawn of your civilisation. It is a precious gift, as while I can simply direct my workers to manufacture further samples that is one of the original flasks I gathered so long ago. The stasis mechanism is very delicate, so please, dear lady, try not to drop it.

+++889.805.M41+++
+++To: Trazyn the Infinite, Archeovist of the Solemnace Galleries+++
+++From: Helynna Valeria, Inquistor+++
+++Subject: Re: A Generous Gift+++

My dear friend, it pleases me greatly that you find my offerings so satisfactory. I have recently come into possession of an account of the first recorded meeting of our two peoples, and have appended a copy accordingly. It is an interesting read, as I am sure you will agree. Please pass my gratitude for her continued loyalty on to dear Ereshkigal, for while I do not regret sending her to you, I do find myself regretting her absence. It is with a heavy heart that I receive news of her resentment, and I hope that we can move past this small disagreement.

In return for your generous sample, I return a token of my own. It is a cunning device created by a techpriestess under my influence that I believe you will find to your interest. By mixing it with certain isotopes known to the Imperium, she has discovered a method to destabilise the living metal that your warriors and vehicles are crafted from. Indeed, it is my belief that too large a concentration of the admixture in a concentrated location may prove even more volatile than unpolluted francium. You are, of course, significantly better situated to continue experiments with such a compound than I, and I look forward to hearing of your findings.

+++Message Ends+++

+++To: Helynna Valeria, Inquisitor+++
+++From: Ereshkigal Rose, Interrogator+++
+++Subject: Greetings, Mistress.+++

Your last gift has left Trazyn rather inconsolable, as it destroyed four of his surrogate bodies before he worked out how to seal the compound in a magnetic bottle without the bottle being dissolved. Mistress, I implore you – while I am learning much here, please, call me back. I grow more fearful for my life with each passing day, and that is without the risk that the Archeovist will lash out and transform me into an exhibit! I forgive you for the bomb, I see now it was only a part of the game you are playing with the Infinite, if only you will allow me to return to your side!

I have attached a file regarding my progress in penetrating the architecture of the records here, but I'm afraid that not much of the luck has been mine. Trazyn, however, is becoming obsessed with you. He paces, muttering and twitching, and I am certain that many of his thoughts are of you. He is planning something unusual for his next scroll. I only hope that you survive it.
