Fantasy Books and Games in O'fallon, IL, is hosting a 3 round tournament on the 1st of March.
2,000 points with all legal options (Forgeworld, Double Force Org, Lords of War, etc...).
This will possibly be the last chance I get to play in the area before the military moves me on to a new home, so if any Dakkaites wanna show up, would be cool.

It's purely a generalship tourney. Painted armies are encouraged, but not required.

Yeah, but the stuff I'm doing is assembled in sub assemblies, then painted, then final assembly. If I assemble it all at once, it will be a major PITA to paint :(

Cool. I'm actually not even getting back into the area until Friday, and I'll be trying out a list that is kind of new to me... so this should be an interesting go of things. I just hope my dice don't gak out on me like they usually do at these things. I took 2nd last time I had an average dice day.

Well the turnout was a little less then I had hoped for, but we still had a good time.
Whembly and I fought the final battle for first place. I walked a way with his Dark Angels lying dead and smoking.

Massed STR6 shots against an MSU'ed Ravenwing list... in the kill point mission no less...
The outcome was not surprising.
Great game though... I had fun.
