I been spraying this stuff for some time but, here where I am at the weather has gotten warmer and dry. Doesn't look like Vallejo Thinner and distilled water ratios are working well. Keeps drying up in the needle. SO I was wonder what people might thing about using "Liquitex slow-dri blending medium" to help./ I read on some scale modelers forums and such that it helps.
Has anyone used it for had experience with it. Thnx.

I didn't have this problem. I was spraying Vallejos during 33+ degrees C weather without any clogging. All I was using was acrylic thinner.
Maybe try just diluting with acrylic thinner? I used Tamiya X-20A, it's been fine for the past few years. Even when we hit 40 odd degrees C.

I am talking about Vallejo Model Color (much thicker paint than) not Model Air or Game Color. I am also talking about 70+ degrees with no humidity. Already use acrylic thinner. Spraying isn't the issue (that's what thinner is for) it's the quick dry time in the as it flows through the airbrush.

You can lube your needle (lol) which helps with tip dry. Others have also suggested using some flow aid to reduce tip dry. Then of course yeah, there's drying retarder. I have a couple premixed bottles of various combinations of the above with thinners which has me sorted.
You could also try giving your airbrush a good clean, that can help. After which you can lube the needle up while everything's open.

My airbrush is always clean. I even use a ultrasonic cleaner after using cleaner itself. I break down and clean it after each use. I will look at lubing the needle though and Flo-Aid.
Thnx

Update:
"Liquitex slow-dri blending medium" Worrked like a charm, no clogging in the tip on the airbrush. Very Smooth finish. Did a small ratio mixture 3 drops for a .74oz jar siphon paint. Adding a little Vallejo thinner/ Paint/ Water depending if I wanted a full jar.
The stuff is great for blending paints as well.
