A lot of horde style lists in our area. C&C?

I know many disagree with me, but I prefer dakka Baals or auto las preds to flamer preds. The Dakka Baals can kite many lists for most of or all of the game. Move 6" and fire 12 shots is pretty good. Not Eldar good, but pretty good.

Give one of the assault squads flamers for anti-horde duty. They work well on overwatch as well.

Well it's either the Preds go on AT Duty and the Marines go on Horde Duty, or Vice Versa. I prefer it to be the Preds cause those flamers will roast MEQs as well.

Good players will never let your pred roast their meq. I have never lost a single meq to flamer Baals. Ever. As you close, they will exploit the AV 11 side armor and disable the tank. You want predators as far away as possible with their AV 13 taking all the hits.

If you're playing against hordes, do something like this:

You will wreck hordes no problem.

Don't ever use BA devs, much less with ML. They are terribad. Fast preds make them look silly.

Even horde lists have access to things like Battlewagons and mega nobz. Get some lascannons or meltas.

True. Heck, drop 1 ASM squad, the Fragnought, and all the Devs and go Triple Raven w/ a Comms Relay.

Triple raven is a legit tourney build. Gimmicky, but legit.

Quoting for truth. If you wanna get extra juicy, drop all the Sternguard and one libby to ally in Iron Hands to get another one. 4 Stormravens at 1500 is brutal.

That risks getting tabled by something like SW drop pods.

Almost any Blood Angel list is gonna lose to that anyways.

That's not true completely. I've beaten it a few times with mechanized Angels and Mephiston. But that list isn't very good against lots of other stuff.
