So is this game getting made? Some of those concept art pics are nice. Might not play the game but would could use some of these models for sure (Terran minis would fit in nicely with heavy gear I think)

It's early-mid this year if I remember the last time they mentioned it. It did technically get "made" already, but they pulled the original starter sets down after merging the studio and store, and re-announced it (presumably using the "improved" version of the coloured dice format, it originally seemed to be a testing ground for the mechanic).

This was my understanding too. Im just starting out with Firestorm Armada (LOVE IT!) and Planetfall really intrigued me to run alongside FA. Hopefully in a few months there will be a Planetfall starter. If its anything like Battle for Valhalla, itll be a great buy!

Personally i'd prefer they go the route of the Dystopian Legions starters. Not really a fan of starter sets forcing you into factions. I'd much rather a nice startup box for each faction with a cutdown mini rulebook and some bonus dice

See I like the idea of that, but I think its unlikely. I think theyll have a starter set with 2 factions, and then Starter boxes for each faction, with the rulebook purchased separately, and unit stats in the boxes or downloadable, as they do for FA. Do the Dystopian starters include mini rulebooks then?

The Legions ones do, or at least did because the rulebook for that isn't out till this year at some point (as well as available as a free download). And the "old" starter sets of this came with the rulebook+ faction/scenario book if i recall.

Cool fellows, seems we will be spoiled for choice soon in the 10mm scifi games!

Any inkling as to pricing?

At a guess i'd imagine it'd be in line with the Dystopian Wars land prices, or a little more.
