Hello,

I don't own any of the new models but neither does my friend who plays SM. We have a match this Friday and I want to make sure my list is competitive. I will post a summary of his list.

HQ-
Shrike
Captain

Elite-
Ironclad Dreadnaught in drop pod
sternguard in a drop pod

Troops
2 x rhinos with tactical marines

Fast-
Storm raven (Whatever the flying one is)
assault marines (with shrike)

Heavy-
vindicator
predator (sometimes 2)
maybe a landraider

Me-
Flyrant 2 x BLW, HC 250

Elites-
Zoanthropes x 2 100
Hiveguard x3 165

Troops-
Tervigon 195
Termagants x 30 160
-10 Devs (outflanking)

Fast Attack-
Raveners x 6 RC 210

Heavy-
tyrannofex, RC 205
Mawloc 140
2 x Dakkafex 300

1725
I can drop 1 Hiveguard, the Devs of the fex's and add a 3rd carnifex and run it stock for a squad of 3. I need your thoughts!!

Looks pretty good....25 pts will just buy a Miasma Cannon, coincidence? Or you can get an upgrade of two...what jumps out to me is Thorax hive for Tyranofex, Adrenal for a big monster, some upgrades for the Raveners (Spinefists?) or something like that...

I guess the Tervigon can take it. With vsing him I'm always concerned about AT

Good enough, and it is good against infantry asassain squads...

As dull as it sounds, if you have another flyrant I would run him. Having only 1 FMC on the board usually guarantees that it gets shot to pieces in the first turn or 2. When playing nids, you either need to saturate the field with targets (at least 2 FMCs) or have none at all.
I'd probably drop the second Zoan and instead take a Venom. The bonus to saves can easily make or break a game. Otherwise, this list looks pretty good. Good luck!

Necrons - 3000 pts
HH Imperial Militia/Cults - 1000 points Check out my P&M blog! (https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/805464.page)
Bretonnia - 4500 pts

Think about getting a Lictor in there so you can DS without scattering. You have two very critical DSing units. Don't risk the Mawlock popping up under the LR. Great timing with a Mawloc could wipe out a SM squad but only if it can hit the right spot.

If the Tyrano has a rupture cannon, drop it and run him with Electro shock grubs. The faster he gets into CC the better and a rupture cannon will only delay that. Remember that he is T6 W6 and Av2. Throw him against everything that isn’t in terminator armor. Don’t be afraid to let him get charged. 2v flamer templates can do some damage.
Dropping devourers from the gaunts and the rupture cannon would net you some serious points for a lictor or 2.

Absolutely this. You don't need the Rupture Cannon. If you want some more anti tank find away to fit in more Zoans. Those are my primary anti tank hunting units. Granted the range of Warp Blast isn't great but the 3++ usually lets them survive long enough to pop some armor.

Extra if you give lots of distracting threats to confuse the enemy. Also Zoeys give a roll on the Powers of the Hive MInd! chart, 1 per Brood

I appreciate all the feed back so far. Before the battle I need to spend a few hours on some repairs and I'd like to minimize that.

My Lictors or OOP with no scything talons so it'd feel weird to feild them. but it can be done...

Unfortunately I don't have a second Flyrant or a venomthrope, soon though. I figured the raveners/Mawloc/Gaunts would saturate the Flyrant.

I have 3-4 shrikes to run as well.

My HQ choices are as follows- Flyrant, Swarmlord, Tyrant with HVC, Tyrant with 2x Syctal, Prime

My Elite choices are- 6 hiveguard, 2 zoans.

My Tfex has a rupture cannon so he can stop those vindicators.

I can alternatively run 2 Tfex's instead of a Tervigon and a Tfex. (I own 2- 1 or the other)

Someone throw a list at me based off what is here?
