I used the dipping method on 2 models , did each step and let cure for 24 hours and when i went out to the garage this morning i was deeply saddened with the results

^What he said. Odd story but one time the matte varnish I bought wound up making my models look dusty which suited me fine for my Ogre Kingdoms on sand bases.

Yeah make sure you read up on using matte varnish first!
