A friend and I are building roughly the equivalent of an Ork Looted Imperator Titan/ Emperor Titan. (I know they are two different sizes we just haven't committed to one or the other yet) . My question is, in any of the fluff/black library novels is there anything mentioned of a looted Titan? If there is, can you direct me to the book/source or provide details here? I appreciate it Dakka!

I'm sure it's happened at least once or twice. That's where orks got the idea for Stompas after all, by looking at a Titan and thinking "it's a nice start, but it needs more dakka."
I can't think of any specific examples off the top of my head though. I'd imagine the Imperium would be quick to try and reclaim or destroy a looted titan, as the effect that would have on Imperial morale would be devastating.

Anything of that size is called a 'Gargant.' Gargants range from giant boxes of metal on treads with guns bolted on, to city-cized fortresses of walking destruction, built as a true effigy of Gork (Or maybe Mork?), and whenever the Big Meks can get their hands on an Imperial Titan and juice it up a bit, that's also a Gargant.

Also in the ork codex they mention the legendarily awesome looter 'Grabber' Gutzbag (in the looted wagon entry fluff) who looted imperial titans to turn against their owners... Might be true, might be myth. Either way, it's awesome.
It's possible. Orks can loot anything

Isn't the ork fluff about how they're very powerful psykers and if they believe something will work, then it will?
I.E:
If they pick up a tree branch and think its a shoota, it's a shoota. If they put a brick inside a truck and believe it's an engine, it will run? If they paint something red, it will go faster...
Surely looting a titan isn't a problem when dealing with a power like this?

No, that's just an explanation a TechMagos of the AdMech puts forth as an explanation for why certain of the weirder Ork equipment works at all. Things like tellyporters and shokk attack guns.
An Ork knows what a gun looks like, he's not going to "believe" that a tree branch will work as a gun. But a badly machined gun, with an ill-fitting magazine and sub-standard ammo? As long as it makes lots of noise the ork shooting it will feel supremely confident that it's a very killy device, and the gun will probably not explode in his face and might even hit something by mistake.

The red thing is quite true though, which is why the BA copied the orks and now their vehicles are all Fast also
