Whatever happened to them? I cant find anything that says their ultimate fate after Istvaan III. Was it possible they survived the final orbital bombardment?

Vast majority were killed on Isstvan. If there were any others, I would imagine they would be absorbed into other loyalist legions.

Dead. Anyone that was not corruptible was sent down to Istavaan III. Out of the tens of thousands that died as loyalists, I'd say only a handful were able to escape before the viral bombing. However, without giving too much away (look up the Horus Heresy Garro audio series) there's a reason why there aren't many loyalists from the traitor space marine legions.

There could be drips and drabs of them alive soon after istavan, in vulkan lives there is a squad of roughly 30 marines that escaped mixed up of raven guard iron hands and salamanders. So you could say some survived
The fate of Saul tarvits and ancient rylanor are still unknown though !!

I wouldn't be surprised if Ancient Rylanor's still alive simply due to narrative convention (his body was never found after he went underground for an "unknown purpose". That's a blatant Chekhov gun)
That said, overall the traitor legions that purged themselves at Ishtvaan seem to have been rather thorough. But you never know. There might still be some loyalist Emperor children around considering that there was at least one loyalist Luna Wolf that was far away from Ishtvaan at the time (although he along with the rest of the Outcast Dead were kinda a special case) as well as several World Eaters away from the site. I'd also consider mentioning the Loyalist Iron Warriors like Dantioch and his warband but I'm not sure Perturabo ever bothered with a purge in the first place. Regardless, purging your ranks of EVERY single loyalist when marines were spread across the galaxy is very difficult, I imagine.

Any loyalist who survived Istvaan would have almost assuredly been either absorbed into another legion or made apart of Malcado and Gaaro's little project.

I was going to say they'd been killed as they come from the same gene seed as the traitors but this isn't 40k its 30k, the religious dogma has yet to seep into policy. They might be absorbed or still killed simply due to political reasons. The Imperial Fist who fought loyally for Fulgrim for centuries might raise eyebrows amongst his new comrades.

Maybe they could of been put into a new chapter? I dont know if any loyalist legion would want to have loyalist elements of a traitor legion absorbed. But it would make a cool story.

I seem to remember some theory about the Red Scorpions being founded from Emperor's Children loyalists (same source mentioned Blood Ravens maybe being formed from Thousand Sons loyalists). Not sure if that has any basis in canon, or if it's just wild mass guessing. There were a handful loyalist survivors who escaped Istvaan III, and some some others who were stationed away from their legion - those guys were eventually gathered up by Nathaniel Garro to do Inquisition / Grey Knight shenanigans, and I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that the Imperium very quietly re-established some "unknown founding" chapters using their geneseed. GW fluff writers are very coy about this kind of stuff, the better to keep us guessing.

I heard about that, but there is no canon based proof. A wild mans guess based on both are obsessed with the purity of their gene seed. Could be possible though.

The novel "Outcast Dead" shows that the Empire wasn't opposed to just throwing loyalists from traitor legions in a dungeon as opposed to killing them.

I forget the initial short stories and books that showed Dantioch's origins and escape from the Iron Warriors, although the latest book he and his remaining loyalist followers appeared in was Unremembered Empire. Running a search for him on Lexicanum should get you most of it, I think.

In this case it was partially because they weren't sure where their loyalties lay, if I recall correctly. When one of them ended up being loyalist, he was free to go (...or rather, free to be conscripted into the Grey Knights), but it took the intervention of Malcador the Sigilite for that so dunno about what would happen to other loyalists from traitor legions. Considering Unremembered Empire, it's probable that things were such a chaotic situation that there was no standard Imperium policy for it. Many chunks of the Imperium only got bits and pieces of news regarding the whole thing, to the point where lots of the Imperium didn't even know who was loyal or a traitor.

Lol, it may be my own posts you've seen regarding the Red Scorpions (I play Red Scorpions and I intend to build a Loyalist Emperor's Children Legion army), The RS are obsessed with avoiding any possible taint and maintaining the purity of their geneseed, they follow the Codex as closely as possible, and they also "take pride in their colors," their stockpile of MkIV armor, and their whole unknown origin thing (although that last is common to about half of the published chapters) Quite a bit of obsession with purity, perfection, and a bit of vanity there, which matches up with the EC quite nicely. Still a guess, though, but no better or worse than others. Certainly there could be loyalist elements of the traitor legions out there. The forces of the legions were scattered around the galaxy, it's not like they could have gathered up every single member in one place before they started purging. Whether or not any remaining loyalists were absorbed into the remaining legions after the Heresy, or if they helped create the new chapters, or of they were just allowed to die off, is uncertain.

Well, we know almost for certain that at least some of them became the Grey Knight's predecessors (so far we have two Luna Wolves, a Death Guard, and a World Eater, I believe). Of course, that would be a single-digits amount for the most part. Literally less than a handful at the current moment.
There's generally more than enough evidence to say that some of them becoming a new chapter is highly likely (besides Dantioch, the more obvious one would be the Blood Ravens, of whom the loyalist 1k son that uses their quote and has a raven motif is still active in Black Library's stories), although we don't have any specifics on how it happened and it's not 100% confirmed at all.

Ultramarines while Guilliman was alive didn't care. Guilliman is Space Caesar. If people swore to fight for him, he'd let them. Just like Rome.
