Wow, those are bigger than I thought. And that space marine is raised up quite a few MMs on that base. How tale is a space marine to the eyes and how tall to the top of the head?

Is that 2nd miniature to the right from 1650 or Freebooter's fate?

It's Gorman Di Wulfe from Warmachine.

Pic is a bit misleading with the basing method used on several models. Still, it's all we get I suppose with them not having any unpainted production or master models.

Eden figures are 35mm to top of head, so I am assuming these are to the same scale, given Mohands involvement.

Some mild measurement fudging here, so do not take any of this official.

If a space marine is 33mm to the top of his head, the drakerys' miniature is about ~40mm to the top of his head (note the mini has a elongated helmet)

And I have been taught the minis are generally measured to the eye. So these are 35mm? Perhaps a tad bit smaller if I miscalculate the size of the helmet and judgement of comparison.

Then there is the shrinkage rate that occurs, probably 1mm 2 at the most if they shrink anything like Sedition Wars and relic knights.

Final would be 32ish? to 34ish?

Haha Tre, I could imagine you saying that out loud

I think 35mm, as Piston Honda says... but these things tend to be flexible so maybe they'd get away with calling it 32mm. I'd like to see it compared to a "normally posed" Privateer Press model, which I think is considered 32mm.

The should be 32mm to the eyes of the human model (based on the previous picture). They only measure from the feet and do not include the base. So they should be compatible in scale to PP models (the again PP models are all over the place scale wise ... looking at you black 13th).

Basing is a bit misleading, the picture Photoshoped by Piston Honda makes it clearer though... That would be probably 33mm scale?!

If anything it's at least... "unique". Something new has risen from the horizon

Yeh I am always curious as to what qualifies as 32 mm scale. I see now why some peopel woudl call my scale 25 even though the figures are built on 35 mm tall armatures.

Yea, I would definitely call yours 25mm, especially since they are truer scale. Old farts like me love that gak

It is?

I guess no huge last day spike could be considered backsliding, and it is odd to be sitting at -$600 at 3PM EST on the last day though...

Agreed, I'd definitely call Tre's scale "25mm" as it is commonly thought of... and this could squeak in as being considered "32mm" or maybe a hair above that.

I like what I've seen from the rules and gameplay so far, and I'm digging the miniatures. I just don't want to take any chances with the material and preassembled box set.

I'm glad it's being funded.

Hopefully next year this game takes off, the models are amazing, and the community is great.

But I can't afford to be a trailblazer with this one.

I really hope they deliver and I regret not backing it. Maybe a year from now I will be buying it retail.

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

Hmm, this project seems to be doing the same thing as Galaxy Defenders last week. I wonder if the last day backslide is going to be the new norm.

Maybe, I think it has to do with new shiny things out and new shiny things on the horizon.

Wolsung, Infamy's miniatures stemapunk minis KS around the corner, Zombicide season 3. I think that Warprime game will be KS soon too.

God I hope not. That was a tough swallow with Galaxy Defenders, but Ares and their Gremlins stepped up like real troopers in the end. Nobody deserves to watch their funding take a tumble like that.

Sadly I think I'm liking more of the concepts they're showing off now compared to the stuff they actually got funded.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Best of luck to them. The theme does not really grab me as anything new, but wish them the best. That and I don't need any more unpainted minis sitting around.

I was challenged to count up how much money I have in unpainted minis.

What a weird last day here!

I wonder what is really behind this...

I dropped my pledge. Decided I really didn't love any of the models, and had no interest at all in the humans that I had to pay for in order to get the best 'value'.
Will look for it at retail and genuinely hope it does well, the concept work for future minis looks amazing.

I really like the look of a lot of the models, but I just can't bring myself to 'trust' the material choice.

This one is having a very strange final day 'surge' too...

Yep, like I said it's backsliding something fierce.

Kicktraq reporting negative $3k today.

Never seen such a thing before.

Bizarre.

I think it has lot of potential, and we're seeing a lot of people that pledged on that potential that are probably still interested in the project but aren't sure what they'd be getting if they stay in.

Late slides also have a domino effect once it becomes apparent that certain stretch goals won't be met. There's some very appealing concept art there that isn't going to be realised as a model in this Ks.

I think that Don't Panic have run a great campaign and while they are certainly suffering a bit from their choice of material, raising the amount of money they have is nothing to snicker at. If they handle this well and deliver as promised, this game could be a real launching point for them. The aesthetic is extremely interesting to me, and I have been very impressed both with the concept art and the vast majority of sculpts.

I think that a more modest campaign than some had predicted is probably better for them as it lets them work hard to deliver the truckload of miniatures promised, and then hit retail with another wave of impressive sculpts and concepts.

I'll just have to be okay at the 1$ pledge to be honest.

If they had been incredibly forthcoming with their "special pvc" I might have been more open with the money.

Seriously, a little video or something goes a long way now, especially after people keep getting burned on the material.
