Any tips or suggestions to fill in for the obvious weaknesses in this list? I am not all about the cheese in this hobby. I mainly enjoy the collecting, but having an army for the occasional game is nice, and with that, some potential for winning is also nice. Any suggestions would appreciated.

A main point however is I would like to try and keep the Hawks and Baharroth, as they are the theme for my fluff.

It's a fun fluffy list, with Baharroth being surprisingly one of the best P.Lords for normal play due to his herald of victory special rule. The things i would suggest is to switch Trolarch to Mantleseer simply for the re-rolls granted by prescience and guide. A shooty Autarch is never worth the points and a Close Combat Autarch is only effective against a small margin of units e.g Devestators Fire Warriors while you can never go wrong with a Mantleseer as he will ALWAYS have 2 re-roll powers and psy-shriek at worst, all of which are useful powers. Other then that i would swap the Hawks Talon to the Sun rifle, blind is simply worth it's weight in gold, the extra AP is just dandy. A prescience'd unit of Baharroths Hawks make a credible threat to many units in shooting if followed by an assault.

Huh cunningly enough that works out exactly right in terms of points. A mantleseer on Jetbike being 155 and the extra points for the sunrifle being 5. I presume you, being a genius of course, knew this immediately. Only issue I have is being able to convert a Farseer to be riding a jetbike.

Alex could not have said it better. Only thing I would add is consider dropping the suncannon/scatter for dual d cannons, and drop one spear from a warlock to your farseer. Being on a Bike, having the mantle, multiple wounds and BS5 your farseer needs it more. The warlocks are really optional if you want to take even more hawks...which would be pretty cool.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I found the mantleseer highly useful. Didn't want to bother with a fancy conversion and did this instead:

At the moment, this list is completely untested, as I am still building up my collection. I have theory crafted a bit, and run some test dice rolls on various things ( efficiency versus MEQ - GEQ -TEQ among other things) and it seems to perform rather well. My only issue is that, at 2000 points, another army is gonna get far more bang for their buck.
