lol, the Sigil Sororitas is actually the Fleur de Lys, which is also the symbol of Baden Powell's "Boy Scouts" movement, which inspired the American Eagle Scouts.

You mean France. There was only one picture of a Sister of Battle in the Rogue Trader rulebook, the Sister in question was purging a marine from the Rainbow Warriors chapter - a reference to the (then recent) sinking of the Rainbow Warrior.

There is a freight company in New Zealand which uses the Chaos symbol as their logo. Its hugely printed on all their trucks.

Its supposed to represent their deliveries go in all directions or something I imagine, but it was funny to see it for the first time.

As it should, since Scientology is actually a front for the Cult of Ancient Allies. Those allies being Zuvassin, the Undoer and Necoho, the Unbeliever.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

The Fleur-de-lis has been around way longer than that though.

I think the fleur-de-lys as a Sororitas emblem was first used by GW in an illustration depicting the purge of the Rainbow Warriors, which was also a not-so-subtle denounce of France's state sponsored terrorist campaign against Greenpeace.

Minor Warhammer Fantasy gods, actually.

Unlike the Imperium of Man, the Empire allows it's citizens to worship gods other than Sigmar, iirc. As long as they aren't the Ruinous Powers, of course.

I added the img tags, and it didn't work. So it probably is not an image.

You've got the google code for it.

You need to right click it, then do 'view image in new tab', then copy the URL from there.

I am almost certain that GW, being a British company, knew that and did it on purpose. Of course they could have just been making up awesome symbols for SM chapters and stumbled on that by accident (then again given how original most of GWs stuff is, would it really surprise you?)
