Hi there!

I would consider taking a unit of the standard wraithguard with the wraithcannons. Can't go wrong with str 10 shots! and they'll be able to do stuff when they disembark.

Spirit seer is a good choice, might want to consider also adding a farseer. They just add a lot with their buffing psychic powers.

I'm speaking from experience versing Eldar though, Haven't played them myself since 5th edition.

Hey crispy, wraithblades are great, but slow. Generally the best use for them is a bunker for your warlord, for this they should be armed with ghost ace and shield. The other two units you should consider one unit of Wraithguard with cannons, one with d scythe. That gives you one really good anti vehicle unit, and one really good anti infantry unit. Also, if you're doing wraith consider investing in the Iyanden book, battle focus, fleet Wraithguard is amazing.

If you drop cannons and buy hf for prisms and make all Wb into WG with cannons you have 10pts left for,

1) 1 dscythe
2) 1shurkincannon

I would go with SC on spiritseer's serpent.

Only problem with your statement is Wraithguard have to use the same weapon for the entire squad, if you could mix and match they would be the broken unit in the codex not wave serpents.

Ahh good catch danny, so in either case the Sc wins out!

Hi !
welcome to the Eldar side,

For you wraiths I think using D-scythe is the best, The Sycthe really knocks infantry down with that AP and kills almost everyhing with the Distort rule, Personally I think the Wraithblade is quite weak here after I test play them a few times. Wraithguard is your best choice!

Stick the wraithguards with wave serpent and drop them near the enemy! That should make any infantry running! For anti tank,I think your Prisms and Serpent shield will do nicely.

Happy wargaming!

Wraithguard are infinitely better than blades. Especially when mech'd. I would run 2 units with the trusty Wraithcannons and 1 with D-Scythes(ideally). I often run pure Ghost Warriors at 1750/1850. They are extremely cool!

...that big sanction stamp of APPROVAL means it's OFFICIAL. No, I don't have to ask you for permission. D-cannons win games.

Thank you all so much for you feed back, A buddy of mine suggested that i beef my army up to 1750 cause thats the standard most people play by so this is what i have now

Spiritseer

5 wraith blades (axe & Shield)
- Wave Serpent

5 wraith blades (axe & Shield)
- Wave Serpent

5 wraithgaurd (wratihcannon)
- Wave Serpent

5 wraithgaurd (wratihcannon)
- Wave Serpent

5 wraithgaurd (D-scythe)
- Wave Serpent

2 Fire Prisms

I know its kinda spamish but i really like the wraith models quite a bit, My seer would ride with my D-scythes I guess but im not sure. More advice would be helpful ! Wit this list i come out at 1745. I had to take the upgrades off the serpents to make it work. But i got it all to fit.

Put seer with wraithblades. He needs a beefy body guard and that's one of the best ones. Also, have you considered Iyanden yet?

How are the wave serpents broken. I haven't played since the start of 5th and i played tau and nids then. Please explain.

I have downloaded the Iyanden Book just havent gotten to read over yet. I know it goes with the wraith theme. What exactly are the benefits? some previously mentioned the fleet special rule.

The big advantage running Iyanden is the ability to give your wraith constructs battle focus and furious charge (unfortunately no fleet). That is a huge game changer. In how mobile your army can be, also if you move over to wraithknight/lords for your Heavy Support, you can use one of them as the Warlord. It also has some slightly more relevant Warlord Traits and rules that you can use. Wave Serpents are considered broken because they have a S6 weapon that make all their other weapons twin-linked, and then a S7 weapon that is now twin-linked. Add to that the fact they are almost impossible to kill because someone needs at least S6 to hurt them, and then you get jink saves. Survivable and high fire power output is why they are broken.

That reminds me, the build that is seen as the best for a wave serpent actually being used for transport is;

Wave Serpent;
-Scatter Laser
-Holo-fields

Don't waste your points on the cannon, for transport purposes you will be moving 12" a turn so you can only fire two weapons at full ballistic skill which should really be the scatter lasers and the shield.

Ok so i skimmed over the Iyanden book and moved my list around a little, i still like the last list but this one is just for thoughts

Spiritseer
- Wraithforge Stone

5 Wraith Blades (Axe & Shield)
- Wave Serpent ( TL Scatter Laser & Holo Field )

5 Wraith Guard (Wraith Cannon)
- Wave Serpent ( TL Scatter Laser & Holo Field)

5 Wraith Guard (Wraith Cannon)
- Wave Serpent ( TL Scatter Laser & Holo Field )

5 Wraith Guard (D-Scythe)
- Wave Serpent ( TL Scatter Laser & Holo Field )

Fire Prism

Fire Prism

Wraithlord ( Ghostglavie, 2 Flamers, Scatter Laser, Star Cannon)
-Warlord

I'd put the seer with the Blades so he has some protection. Run them kinda close to the lord so the seer can help him recover wounds, have the gaurd shoot stuff up and have the scythes and the prisms provide heavy support. At least those are my thought.

Be warned, your D-scythe wraithguard will end up in combat eventually, but never charge with them, their overwatch is amazing. 5d3 S4 AP2 distort hits puts fear in your opponents heart.

yeah i figured they'd get tied up. Im honestly hopeing to distract from that with the wraithlord and seer, Having the possibility of him healing every turn im hoping they focus on the seer and blades letting my prisms and gaurd do some work before they get to them.
