I've got the Cyriss Battlegroup, I'm yet to play my first game with these but I wanna be able to try out different Warcasters/units from quite early on

Has anyone got any advice on what to get next? I don't want to buy loads of random cool looking models than realise that I have no synergy to use them effectively haha

Do you like Mother or Aurora?

Both of them haha stylistically I prefer Aurora, because I'm guessing those winged angels are good with her as well.

They both look great though

You could angel spam and run her in tier it would be rough to get down but I have heard it can work well.

Well, so far I played Syntherion and a vector heavy list. He's very focus efficient and can run several vectors. However, there are some vectors like the Corollary or the Assimilator who will come out in April.

I think based on the current models you can run Forgemaster and have a really good army with great synergy, and a few new vector coming out soon to enforce it. Angel spam, fun and fast, but mainly an assassination list. Once people see it they will plan for it tho. Lastly Mother, whom I think will be one of the top three casters for CoC. Mother has a couple of options servitor and troops with a few vectors to bring it home or servitor heavy, with prime axiom, plus troops and fill a vector in if needed.

Top Casters IMO:
Father
Forgemaster
Mother
with Aurora in a close fourth
Axis being next to useless but fun for Mangled Metal

I think this is going to the Caster I'm sticking with for now, Syntherion. I'm trying to get used to war machine still (I had three games and lost 3 ha!) I definitely like Aerogenesis and the angels (if that what she's called) it seems a little different in play style because they're a lot faster (I'm guessing)

I Think Axis is better than Syntherion. He is the attrition caster of the faction. His tier list is really good, and his feat is awesome. With the small based infantry you are bringing back 12 models a turn and with the 3 conservators you have some decent hitting power.

Axis might be good when enigma foundries come out.
