Hey guys. I play nurgle and nids. My nurgle army is currently GW plague marines. I want to use something a bit special though and do the paint job again with nice base etc.

I would like to use forgeworld mk3 iron armour for one squad and the other squad using the same armour but with the forgeworld death guard upgrade pack incorporated too.

Would this be 'ok' so to speak or not for plague marines?

Thanks,
James

Yes.
You are just using the models, right? If they clearly look like plague marines, there should be no problem.

So long as they were plague marines and had the right gear, it kind of doesn't matter which models you bring. Especially if it's a kit-bash that looks filth-encrusted, in this case.

Like this basically

First picture is just the mk3 iron armour painted nurgley and the second is using some of the upgrade kit on plain GW chaos marines where I'd use the legs from the mk 3 armour

Yeah, if you told me those were your plague marines I wouldn't think twice about it.

White has long been one of Nurgle's colors. If someone complains, they need a bit of educating.

In any case, if it was bothering you, you could always do a bit more conversion or painting work to make them look even filthier.

It is? I thought it was traditionally pale green. Then again, that could just be from the grime.

One of

Green, brown, the right shade of yellow even, white and bone are all Nurgleish colours, but yes, White has been one of the pseudo official Nurgle colours since forever.
