Subject: 1.5k Eldar Tournament list!

Hey hey I have been thinking about a potential tournament list to bring to our local ones here (and maybe beyond one day), which are 1,500 points. I would love some feedback if you don't mind.
HQ
Autarch with jetbike, mantle, fusion gun, laser lance, banshee mask
Troops
(5) Dire Avengers
-Wave Serpent with TL scatter laser & underslung shuriken cannon

(3) Jetbikes with a cannon
(3) Jetbikes with a cannon
Fast Attack
(6) Swooping Hawks
(9) Warp Spiders
Crimson Hunter
Heavy Support
(3) War Walkers with 2x scatter lasers
Plan: Blow them off the table as much as possible. Score with durable mobile objective takers.
Deployment. I have the option of avoiding alpha-strike maneuvers that would remove a model immediately largely by use of reservers. I only have to leave out 4 things: the 3 tanks & the swooping hawks. The tanks + contents should survive just about anything short of a pure drop pod army. The hawks could get gunned down but, in the grand scheme of things, only marines have drop pods and if they waste their alpha strike power gunning down a low-points unit that is made to kill weak hordes from other codices then I'm winning.
I've been considering the merits of the mantarch vs. the lolseer. I went with the mantarch because of the value of his reserves manipulation. The farseer could be useful. Some units would benefit from rerolls. However, spell support doesn't just doesn't seem worth losing the reserves manipulation given the sheer amount of possible deep-striking things.. Only spending the points on one HQ seems to be wise since I can bring more toys but maybe that isn't the case and I should go both?

List is very solid.
I think at 1500pts this will give any army trouble. I would consider replacing the autarch with a HQ that can ride in one of the wave serpents. With that load out and not a lot of other squishy targets he's asking to be blown away by Tau or anyone else that gets to ignore cover.
Though the list will do well if you reserve him and the bikes. I don't think you need a farseer since you have a lot of scatter lasers.
A guy that plays at my LGS uses a similar list, but it includes a wraithknight, might be something to consider. He uses it to beat up vulnerable units, blast tanks and then grab line breaker if its still kicking.

Well, looks quite good. You want the HQ to do some damage.
I'd consider a Jetseer with guide, prescience, and psychic shriek. She could improve the shooting of the Warwalkers and the Warp Spiders. Psychic shriek is good against the last man standing.

Would it be worth losing out on the reserves modification wuestenfux, given that 5 of the units may be in reserves?

I'll second the idea of the jetseer. A +/-1 is nice for getting reserves IN but not enough to keep them out. With a jetseer you would boost the damage output of your fast attack and heavy slots, and potentially roll scrier's gaze, which will do a much better job at manipulating your reserves!

...that big sanction stamp of APPROVAL means it's OFFICIAL. No, I don't have to ask you for permission. D-cannons win games.

Holo fields have always done me well. Dont know if you have them but forgot to post them, or dont have them. If you dont have them at least consider them. Expensive, but helpfull

List looks pretty solid but I would take the farseer over a mantletarch

I have thought about holofields on the serpents. They would be good but at 45 points it seems hard to justify.
I'll second the idea of the jetseer. A +/-1 is nice for getting reserves IN but not enough to keep them out. With a jetseer you would boost the damage output of your fast attack and heavy slots, and potentially roll scrier's gaze, which will do a much better job at manipulating your reserves!
I am only really concerned about getting them in. Keeping them out isn't a concern aside from the crimson hunter. The jetseer would boost the two units and that is an excellent point. However, if I am keeping the farseer in reserves to prevent an alpha-strike, then that means the seers buffs won't be cast until T3 at the soonest and that scriers gaze will not be usable even if I roll for it. So, its not so simple a decision.
I think at 1500pts this will give any army trouble. I would consider replacing the autarch with a HQ that can ride in one of the wave serpents. With that load out and not a lot of other squishy targets he's asking to be blown away by Tau or anyone else that gets to ignore cover.
I considered this and while it would make for a durable HQ it also makes for a horribly ineffective HQ since it would be a footslogger without a strong unit to support. Jetseer/Mantarch can work more independently.
