Is this why they haven't been releasing FAQs? They're just not doing it anymore?

Buried the blog, no FAQ's or new content, and put a model catalog/ordering information on the home page.

well there is LOTS changed here.... those baneblade kits, are now listed as individual vehicles rather than by kit name, some even appear twice in the same section...

i think this is not well planned but they couldnt leave it down anylonger for lost sales....

They'll charge you if you want to argue. This is great news. All part of GW's plan.

I guess they assume people will either email GW for answers or self-regulate.

The problem with the former is that GW is well-known for giving inconsistent responses to the same question.

The problem with the latter is that people are asshats.

I blame smart-phone users for this change. "Mobile-friendly" websites suck.

They also seem to have taken out all the content, it's just a big interactive catalogue made pretty for people on iPhones to poke around.

So no more specialist games either. This makes me sad :(

The iBook version of the IG codex is 44,something €.
The printed version of the IG codex is 38 €.


They actually have the audacity to charge you 7€ more without offering something tangible. No delivery, not paper costs, not printing expenses, no nothing, and they want more money for the ebook. Are they in their right minds?!

Also, I assume the red up-pointing arrows inform you about price increases, otherwise I can't explain, why the Big Mek with the SAG gun costs 33€ now. That must be record for any single infantry model without even the bulky USR, even including forge-world.

well there is LOTS changed here.... those baneblade kits, are now listed as individual vehicles rather than by kit name, some even appear twice in the same section...

Yeah the Wyvern/Hydra kit are listed separately but the description clearly shows it as a dual kit. Arguably easier for new gamers/unfamiliar parents.

The site generally looks okay and I'm navigating it easily enough. I think I'm using a mobile specific site as I'm on my phone.

So they shut it down for like 24-26 hours to mess something up. Gee good work

I like the larger images. Hating the interface and don't like they've the way they've split up models that are in a single kit in to multiple entires (eg, there's an entry for each and every baneblade variant).

As far as I can see, there's no content/blogs, FAQs or other useful resources like the old paint conversion guide. Everything here is for sale - it's purely for online shopping. This doesn't support the hobby in any way, shape or form.

Doesn't the iBook version come with interactive stuff like an army builder or something? That's usually the justification for the price differences between android and iVersions.

They did it with the baneblade combo kit too. I guess it makes it easier to find a specific variant you're looking for if you were unaware that it was in a combo kit.
