So I'm interested in at least trying out the Firebase Dataslate rules before dropping $300-400 on those models.
Anyone have any good ideas for Missileside proxies? I've already found a Riptide counts-as that I really like (for $25 instead of $85!).

If your running them as proxies to test out in a few games just cardboard cut them out for like a few games.

Because if I like them, I'll want to use them in a tournament, and cardboard cutouts are a no-no for me in tournaments. I like to be WYSIWYG, and while that's technically impossible with proxies, I still like being close. I've never used cut-outs, and I don't plan on starting.

I get that you're wanting a proxie for the Riptide, but I guess I'm confused on what you're wanting to use. What is your 25$ model? A picture would help.

What you're actually asking for is a good counts-as for a broadside or a good alternate model.

Proxy means that it is an object or model completely unrelated to the one you have in your list.

That's why people are confused by your question.

there should be some at the proper size and scale and most come with all sorts of weapons or just strap a tuck fun of missile pod bits on it.

Holding the Ion Accelerator, and a Plasma Rifle in the chest. Or perhaps the other way 'round.

Anyhow, I've seen some acceptable Railsides counts-as around, but not any Missilesides. So any help would be appreciated!
