Anyone used one as a lord of war or in games (and how does it compare to other super heavies / gargantuan creatures)? .... or know another alternative that is a escalation level lord of war that would be better (besides the thunderhawk since I don't have anywhere near $300-400 to drop)

Thanks

While I haven't played it, I'm sure the Fellblade is an excellent super-heavy for its price-point; HOWEVER, it is not designed to take out other super-heavies (or Gargantuan Creatures) as it has no D-weapon of its own. It'll mulch through infantry and normal vehicle with ease though. And the combined firepower of its accelerator-cannon and lascannons might be enough to take out a "light" super-heavy like a Knight.

On that note, Space Marines only have 3 options to bring a D-weapon for a Lord Of War choice: Thunderhawk, Warhound or Reaver.

I thought the Thunderhawks and Fellblade were the only escalation lords of war for SM and the titans were apoc?

The Reaver and Warhound are under Forces of the Imperium here:

They can be chosen as part of a SM detachment for Escalation.

That is the book that the rules are found in. The current set of rules for the titans can be found in the Imperial Armor: Apocalypse book.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!
