What are the Drop Pods for? Do they contain anything?
I think you need to have them as dedicated transports to make them legal.

Also to get them you'd need to Ally with Space Marines, which may be problematic for your theme

Current Proposed Rules Project: Orkish AC-130 Spekta Gunship!

WAAAGH Sparky!

Kommander Sparks DKoK
1000 (ish) - Now on the backburner

- Men, you're lucky men. Soon, you'll all be fighting for your planet. Many of you will be dying for your planet. A few of you will be put through a fine mesh screen for your planet. They will be the luckiest of all.

I just segmented my list horribly, they are are dedicated transports as I cant think of any other practical use for them. As for allying with space marines, I'm sure I could pull it off in the fluff I'm working on, maybe represent them as Chaos Daemons (Because just using Chaos marines would be to predictable)

It is still going to be hard however, as your Platoons are too large for the Pods (and I'm not even sure Allies can buy Pods - I don't think so? Paging a Space Marine player?) and you'd have to retool your list to fit in the Allies Detachment.

You'll have to consult a real Space Marine player though. I'm not especially sure how Drop Pods can be taken as transports, or for allies. Regardless, i think you might have to rebuild your list to fit them in along with all the compulsory stuff.

Yeah, I probably would have to do that. However, i'm sure my FLGS will let me bend the rules a bit and throw them in without any allies. As for fitting them in, each platoon is 4 squads, so I could deploy an entire platoon over multiple drop pods, no?

Yea one pod per squad will be fine, platoon or not. Id be ok with this sounds cool.

A lor of lasguns though, you might wanna at least give them krak grenades or something to have a small chance against vehicles.

Eh, I'll just drop a drop pod on them.
But in all seriousness, I'll probably throw in a heavy weapons team as an anti-vehicle measure in place of a drop pod or something, for use in games when I know I'll be facing tanks.
