Just a simple question:
some flyer (ie stormraven, stormtalon, etc) can go from "flying" to "fast skimmer" at the start of movement phase
so i can declare my flyer is hovering and deploy them on table since start of the game or i'm still forced to deploy in reserve?
can i declare it's hovering at the start of the turn he came from reserve or first turn has to be flying?

yeah i know making flyer hover it's a wrong decision noone with a brain can take; i'm not discussing if "it's a viable option", just asking if "can be done"

It is possible, however, you would need to look at some of the rules found in Stronghold Assault to find out how.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Sometimes that is the correct answer.

However, the OP's question needs a second possible source. In this case, Stronghold Assault.

It is normally impossible unless you use a certain rule for Skyshield Landing Pads in Stronghold Assault.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"
