Hey Dakka ! been a while since ive posted anything but i have a question for HH fluff experts !!

Im looking at adding a libby to my HH IH list and i was wondering what the Gorgon's stand point on psykers was during the heresy.. notably the drop site massecare ?

were they like the EC where they had absolutely no psykers from the get go coz they were 'genetically imperfect' ?

or were they tolerated to a certain degree ? in which case, what degree ? lots ? not many ? etc.

Not true. So far in the HH series we've seen the Ultramarines, Dark Angels and Raven Guard all reinstate their Librarius in the face of daemonic foes.
As to the OP my Iron Hands knowledge isn't great, I'm not sure if they ever had a librarius in the first place but also can't say for sure that they didn't.
The Legions that had total bans for sure were The Emperor's Children and Death Guard, Space Wolves think they didn't have them but they still had psykers (I won't go into it because I don't want to get into another sorcery vs psykers debate that goes nowhere) World Eaters had them but in such small number and they were outsiders due to the lack of Butchers Nails.
I think the Nightlords may also have not had conventional psykers but other than that I am not sure.

I think this quote from Angel Exterminatus may be helpful to you.

"Such things were the purview of the Librarius, or at least they would have been, had the Iron Hands ever possessed such an institution."

That's from the thoughts of a senior Iron Hand, not too long after the drop site massacre, so it appears they did not have psykers.

I believe it was also in the short story Feat of Iron in which Ferrus Manus outright states that he abhors the use of psykers and witches.

but thanks for the replys guess i wont be having psykers then... and i had such a good tactic for them too
