There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

Plastic Biovores would be awesome, especially if they redesigned them to not look like a scrotum with legs and a derpface.
I'd really like plastic Venomthropes though, spindly arms and fine cast do not mic well. Automatically Appended Next Post: Just checked, Venomthropes are gone too, I am hopeful.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

There have been models falling off the US site lately, most of which are Finecast. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just being silently being taken down when they run out of stock of them in a given location. Alternatively it could have to do with the new site launch rumored for the 7th and it's an issue with the backend somewhere.

Nice conclusion.
What does it generally mean that a unit or model has been taken off from the GW website?

It usually means:
1. They aren't going to sell it anymore (Sisters, Specialist Games)
2. The site broke (again, and again and again)
3. The model is getting updated (the least likely to happen until the new model is released generally).

Granted, models have gone off the site only to reappear again later, sometimes years before the model gets redone. It's worth noticing, but I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet.

Pretty much this. There have been so many models being taken off various versions of the website lately (Striking Scorpions on the Canadian site, for example), but I really doubt it means that they're redoing all these kits. It would be nice, without a doubt, but let's be realistic here. Games Workshop doesn't seem to waste resources on redoing old models when they can pump out the big new thing. Of course, unless they're redoing kits that still look and work well, like Warriors or Tactical Marines.
Anyway, the Biovore is still available on the Canadian site, must just be another glitch.

Have you considered that they might still have Biovores in Canada to sell?
Another theory that's been put forward is they're upgrading a lot of Finecast models, not to plastic, but a higher quality resin.
