I'm for the most part happy with the new 4.5 patch but I do hate the update on Aegis and Iron Solaris it was one of the few items that had both armor and mr now it just gives mr it isn't anywhere near as good as spirit visage or banshees veil as a pure mr item, give back it's armor.

Favorite champs? I like Warwick in the Jungle. I've racked up 22 kills as him once.

Mostly a support player personally, with a side of Vi jungle. Only issue is that the portion of my stable that I'm well practiced with is rather shallow right now (mostly Leona and Kayle), and tends to draw a decent amount of bans. Working on my Taric and Nami a bit, but kind of wish there were more tanky support options.

I normally play tanky characters like Cho'gath or pure damage glass cannon characters like Ziggs.

Ziggs in particular was crazy in URF since it's like playing dodgeball from how much you can spam Q and E. A pity it's over, it was a nice break from the meta.

Thresh can be a fairly tanky support. However, if he doesn't get picked by the enemy team he's likely already been banned.

If you want someone who can be pseudo-tanky and also a bit of a lane bully, you should try support Karma.

There's also Malphite surprisingly.

Malphite isn't really support though. He's a great top lane bully (albeit somewhat less now that top lane mages are a thing), but his peel is limited to single target and his ult (which stuns for such a short time it doesn't count), and he doesn't offer a thing to his ADC. Leona at least is made of glue, and Thresh just has so much annoyance in his kit that you could take out all his damage and he'd STILL get played in just as many Challenger and LCS games as he is today.

Never got the hang of Thresh sadly. I think that it's that I tend to play front line when tank supporting, which is NOT somewhere you want to be when you've got a lantern out, combined with the wind-up on his grab being somewhat counter-intuitive to me. Might even give support Blitzcrank or Annie a try, although I'm not sure the former really brings that much to the table these days...

Karma is an interesting suggestion though. I play a decent amount of Heimerdinger when I get stuck midlane (ever since the nerf to Kayle's Q), so Mantra is at least a familiar mechanic.

Yeah, Warwick was my first champ I played.

Oh, and did anyone else catch this weekend's LCS games? The Coast-Cloud 9 game especially was rather full of WTF-ness.

I'm currently enjoying LOL a lot, usually go top lane, support or jungle but i'm learning akali mid.

currently love playing as: Garen, Xin, Vi, Rammus, Trundle, Nautulis, Vel'Koz, Leona, Janna, Taric, Blitz, Akali, Jarvan.

haven't even looked at other champions

If anyone wants some games add ducey on EUW.

Just finished a game as Udyr top. I'm gonna stick to either Xin Zhao or Malphite top...

Udyr is best for jungling he can be played solo top but he's much more effective as jungle imo.

URF mode was fun. It made some low end champions really crazy. Urgot, Twitch, Scion...AP Scion was insane in URF mode. I went 1v2 top lane and bullied them around so hard. Something about having .9 to 1 ap ratio on his stun and shield while having a cooldown on his stun that was equal to the stun duration...and the shield absorbing around 1000+dmg and only have a 1-2 second break between CD is crazy.

I mostly try and play Thresh bot, ziggs mid, twitch ADC. I never got the hang of jungle.

I agree totally, I am a big Urgot player normally (usually solo top, or mid on occasion) and in URF Urgot was insane. Was so fun to be able to spam Q and watch their health melt away. I thoroughly enjoyed that experience

I really am enjoying the new match maker where you can pre-select your roles and position no more arguments, although it's a bit more waiting involved.

The waiting is generally worth it though.

Dang, they really improved bots! Intermediate bots were actually kind of a challenge to beat! It didn't help that Nautalis quit mid-game, or the I was out of practice as Mundo. But dang! Mush tougher fight that I expected!
