Does anybody know of a good rule set that allows you to field 20 / 28mm forces, set in the late Cold War era? Looking to try and play some European East v West games at those scales

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Force on Force is supposed to be popular and works with either scale.

It also has the 'Cold War Gone Hot' expansion which focuses on the 'what ifs' of the period.

I have played a goodly bit of FoF and have the SWGH book. I am still building my NATO troops and waiting for Khurasan to ocme out with BTR-60s so I haven't played any CW games yet. But I love FoF.

I have to back the post above mine! Such a fantastic game! Simple, fast paced, and very strategy driven. I just posted a couple Pics of some Of My insurgents and US Army. Buy it and you will love it!! I bought the ambush z expansion because we did some Zombie apoc games.. Really I could dote over this game all night. And if you find you like the rules set and want to do some scifi with the rules, check out tomorrow's war it their near future set
