Ok ... i'm putting my orks up against my buddy's World Eaters on Monday night.

I hope this isn't off topic as i'm not posting a list ... but asking for help creating a list that will fare well against these beefy world eaters.

I want to field lootas and Mega Armor Nobs for sure.
And i'm very much a speed freak player.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

At the moment, battlewagonz are doing great. But i'd wait a bit and see what do we get in new dex. Probably bw and lootas will be nerfed cause everyone has those models allready.

Hmmm...i know you said you like speed freeks but this is a 1000 points version of a 2k list i field a lot (it is pretty much always successful):
Ghazghull-225 points
3 meganobz-120 points
10 lootas-150 points
30 boyz (nob with power klaw)-215 points
30 boyz (nob with power klaw)-215 points
20 grotz (with runtherd with grot prod)-75 points

I know you dont have ghazgkull but i advise getting him( he is great and will last most of the game) or proxy a meganob as him (if your friend is okay with proxying. If not then replace ghazghull with a warboss with power klaw, TL shoota and 'eavy armour and a big mek with kff, 'eavy armour and power klaw. Actually, i think the warboss and mek would be better in a small game so use them instead of ghazgkull.

12 boyz, nob, pk, bp, big shoota in a Trukk w/ a ram = 157

or, you can swap the bikernobs for meganobs, since you said you wanted some of them. so that would look like
Megaboss w/ BP, cybork = 115
Big Mek w/ kff, bp, pk, 'eavy = 120
12 boyz, nob, pk, bp, big shoota in a Trukk w/ a ram = 157
12 boyz, nob, pk, bp, big shoota in a Trukk w/ a ram = 157
11 boyz. nob, in a Trukk w/ ram = 116
4 meganobs in a Trukk w/ ram = 200
9 lootas = 135

There you have a 4 trukk list, using the rams to run through terrain and the KFF to provide some basic cover saves. You can also look at taking the PKs off the nobs to add an extra meganob to the boss' squad.

will using a speed freaks list be a bad idea against zerkers?

I love speed lists they're my fav .. but it may not be enough models in this case?

And after reading all the suggestions i came up with this:

What do yall think?

My goal is to use the grots and shoota boyz to tie up the zerker squads. And then charge with Choppa Boyz and Mega Armor Nobz.

Damn that's a god awful amount of Orks at that points level. Ive been looking into Orks for my girlfriend who is interested in learning to play. This looks really interesting to play.

Operation Grot Shield was in full affect

I tied up everything with my boyz and let the Meganobz charge and eat em up.

The MAN squad took out 2 squads of WE Zerkers, 2 rhinos and 2 zerker dreadnaughts!
Now it was nowhere near a crush Win .. just 2 Victory Points.
But i was told that World Eaters are some of the best in 40K. And everybody in my playgroup lost to that army the first time.
but NOT ME!
