I've been using the citadel stuff, both thick and thin, but my models always fall apart (Especially the big ones) when moving them around on the table top. Is there a better glue for around the same price?

either BSI super glues (hobbystore house brand) or Loctite.

I have been building models for over 45 years and my experience led me to use either Humbrol or Revell plastic glues for the plastics and Uhu Super Glue metal/resin multi-media kits as it is the best super glue.
GW stuff is pure sh*t.

There are a lot of good options but for the last 1-2 years I have been using Loctite Super Glue - Gel Control. It is relatively cheap, dries quick / strong, and easy to control.

Can't go wrong with BSI MAXI-CURE Extra Thick superglue. It's cheap, easy to find, and works on almost any material; plastic, metal, resin, etc.

If you're gluing plastic, use a proper plastic cement. The one most readily available in the US is Testors Model Master Plastic Cement and it can be found in any of the big name arts & crafts stores.
For metal or resin I like any of the Loctite gel super glue, chiefly the one in the blue bottle (Super Control I believe). You can pick them up at Home Depot or Lowes.
Zap-A-Gap is good too but it is a little more expensive than the Loctite stuff.

For plastic models i'd recommend Revell contact professional - been best plastic cement for years i think.
For metal / resin then yeah you need super glue - I use GF9 (gale force nine) hobby glue - very good.
Remember though, if you are having trouble with large models coming apart then you may need to do some pinning to give the joints more strength.

GW plastic glue is passable enough, IMO.

Compared to Revell or Testor's the GW plastic glue is lumpy, gooey junk in my opinion.
As said, for plastic grab some Testor's Model Masters, or Revell Contacta.
For Superglue, I use Gorilla Brand Superglue.
For heavy metal models, I will drill and pin, then glue with JB Kwik, two part metal epoxy. It sets in five minutes and is strong and easy to work with.
