Anyone into Rivet Wars? I noticed it was on sale for $70 at Amazon, and I have a gift card to burn. Is it any good? I missed out on the Kickstarter, is the regular boxed game a good deal or will I be missing out if I don't get all the extra stuff that was in the campaign?

Curious as well... personally, I feel like I'd be missing out, and that it isn't as good a value as I could have had if I had just pledged... which, perhaps ironically, means that I'd rather miss out entirely than buy in on a worse deal.

I could link you to my review that was on TTGN but that's tacky, so I'll just say it's my favorite game presently. Plus quickly. Easy to teach. Value in the box is great. Not as good as the KS of course due to the freebies, but certainly worth it.

Boxed game is good enough for $70.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

Boxed game is fun and fast, and you have a slew of expansions hitting the market this summer. Great game, very fun!

It looks fun, I've heard only good things about gameplay, but I just can't get into the aesthetics of the game. I wish there was a slightly more realistic looking version, and I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

Cool I'll probably pick it up then

Actually I like the cartoony style a lot, but that's also because I'm trying to find a good wargame that my nephews can play so I think they would be more into that.

Deal of the day at miniature market today. $52.00. Well worth it even if you're on the fence.

Frightening how my first inclination when I wake up and see a good daily deal is to come to Dakka. One would think coffee and a shower would take precedence.

Well, that certainly changes things...

Yeah, in the time it took me to add another $50 of product to my cart so I could get free shipping it was gone.
