Hive tyrant with two twin-link BL dev ( 195 )

2X 20 termagant (10 dev per squad) (120+120)
25 Hormagaunts ( seperate the squads how you want 125)
10 Gargoyles (60)
Trygon Prime (230)
Carni with two twin-link BL dev (150)

That's probably what i'd try with what you have. Ripper swarms are horrible, raveners i don't have any experience (and i already didnt have enough points).
If you want Wings on the tyrant, take off 7 hormagaunts. With your low number of synapses, you won't be able to seperate your force too much. Probably just a big blob, but not too close if the other have blasts/templates.

No idea, never faced one.and i dont really know other codexes. Pretty sure it's a vehicule? If so, carni, trygon or the hive tyrant can probably beat him in CC if they smash. Maybe tarpit him first with gaunts or gargoyles (if they can).

I think Wraithknights are MC's, so Toxic Hormies will take it apart with suprising ease. Just tarpitting it with gaunts, then charging in MC's will do the job. The best "wild card" is Bone swords, an "instant death" result is an epic win.

The will of the hive is always the same: HUNGER

If you give a list or what he normally plays we can probably help you better.

He normally plays some bikes, troops, warp spiders or rangers, crimsom hunter or the knight and prism.

Welcome to Tyranids!
A couple of suggestions, some in general and some specifically for eldar:
1) Rippers are worthless. Never use them. T3 is too easy to ID and they can't even hold objectives. I would even take pyrovores over rippers.
2) Gargoyles with TS are great against wraithknights. They have a blind, which when paired with TS means they have a great chance to reduce the wriathknight's WS to 1.
3) Nids win through numbers. It is almost always better to avoid upgrades for more bodies on the table.
As a recommended next buy, i would get a couple of tyrant guard. If you are going to run a tyrant without wings, the guard will absorb all the firepower and allow your tyrant to get into cc.

About the only thing good against flyers in the Nids codex is.... flyers! So crones, flyrants, harpies. Crones probably being the best against vehicule flyer, with 2 haywire per turn + rerolls failed to-hit.

Yeah, the way Nids defend against fliers are their own FMCs. Crones are specifically geared to take out vehicles, and tyrants with wings and TL-devs with BL are good at taking out both fliers and troops. Either of those would be good for taking out a crimson hunter. Though I don't know much about the AV for it, if it is AV 12 or less the flyrant should be able to glance it to death with 12 TL BS4 shots.

The CH is AV 10 all around so any S4+ shooting is good, also the CH vs nids isn't fantastic so its good for you if he takes it! As for WK any massed poison attacks are good as it only has a 3+ save. If he takes serpents, your only chance is hitting him with enough FMC to take them out before your gamed.

Get more gargoyles! So far, i've used them 30X in a squad. They still die easily if focused, but they let something else live or can tar pit.

Only other way would be a venomthrope, but it's probably a waste. Lots of better thing to protect.

How does the regeneration work? Some sources say is once per turn and some say to roll for total wounds lost

The wraithforge stone? It works on every controlling player's turn, he rolls at the beginning of im turn and on a 3+ 1 WK or WL regains a lost wound up to its starting amount.

Once per turn, if you roll 4+ and you heal one of your wound.
The older version was 6+ but for every wound that was missing, you had a roll.

Used to be: roll for total wounds taken, each 6 heals one back.
Now: if wounded, roll 4+ heal one....
