Since the hell strike missile is still ordnance and 2 can be fired in the same turn, lets bang this out with the community. Ok here is the deal, you can fire these 2 non-blast Ordnance missiles in the same shooting phase and there are only really 2 options in the RAW due to simultaneous shooting: 1) You fire both with full BS. Reason: When Firing an ordnance weapon all other weapons fire snap shots. 2 ordnance weapons are not "other" weapons from the Ordnance weapon being fired. 2) Both fire Snap shots. Reason: When Firing an ordnance weapon all other weapons fire snap shots. 2 ordnance weapons are being fired, each is a weapon other than the Ordnance weapon being fired, both cause the other to snap shot for being another weapon from that ordnance weapon firing. Discounted out right: 1 Ordnance weapon gets to fire normally and the other snap shots. This option is right out due to the second option, there is no way in the rules to determine which Ordnance weapon takes precedence over the other so if one has to snap shot, they both do. Edit: it all comes down to how you parse the sentence, it is either (An) ordnance weapon, meaning 1 ordnance weapon: with all other weapons, meaning every weapon that isn't that 1 ordnance weapon fired. Which leads to no full BS. Or (An ordnance) weapon, meaning weapon(s) with the Ordnance type: with "All other weapons" meaning weapons that do not have the ordnance type, which would allow both to be fired with Full BS.

Personally, I think Ordnance on Aircraft carried Missiles was not the best of ideas as it raises these sort of questions, all over a 'one use only' weapon system that the craft is already restricted on firing....

I really bring it up more so we the community will know what to do with a vehicle that has 2 Blast Ordnance weapons, which gets into an even crazier situation of either both guns can fire, or you can only ever fire 1 gun so what was the point in equipping the vehicle thusly.

It is 1 full and 1 snap shot.
pg 71, you fire an ordnance weapon, the other weapons make snap shots. 'An' as in singular, ie one ordnance weapon.
you pick the one for full BS, the other fires as a snapshot.

And the other causes your first to be snapshot, it is a weapon other than an Ordnance weapon that was fired.
You simply cannot have 1 snap and 1 full bs.

I too think it's 1 fired full BS, the other as a snap shot. Reason being if two things happen simultaneously in my turn I choose what happens first.

Right but the order doesn't matter. I don't get to fire my Russ's heavy bolter BEFORE the main gun and have that suddenly mean it can fire at full BS.
If I am firing an ordnance weapon, all other weapons (including other ordnance weapons) must snap fire. This means that if I fire two ordnance weapons, either all the weapons snap fire, or neither ordnance weapon has to snap fire because they fire simultaneously (though I do not personally agree with the latter interpretation).

Both weapons are very clearly snap shots. The "other" refers to all weapons that are not the specific weapon with the Ordnance rule that you're firing. For it to mean "all non-ordnance weapons" it would have to say "When firing one or more ordnance weapons".
Yes, this means that rocket pods on the Valkyrie are a mandatory upgrade, and FW needs to play their own game occasionally so that they stop putting useless hellstrike missiles on all of their flyers.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

Couldn't you fire one hellstrike missile per turn, thusly allowing at least it to fire at full BS?
Not that it makes hellstrikes at all relevant or anything, but eh.

I dont have the new codex but i believe the Hellstrike is blast marker (size?) so it can never snap fire.
You could only ever fire one a turn

It isn't, it is just ordnance, same as before. No blast

Yes you can Fire 1 at full bs, not fire the other and then fire the ML or Lascannon as a snap shot. You just cannot fire both.
As an aside: This is part of the reason that I only ever field my Valkyrie with rocket pods, Hellstrikes confuse its role as anti-infantry(with a multilaser); and the Vendetta is a better anti-tank Flyer(I magnetized mine to be both)
