Quick question. What is this weapon in the pics of this tutorial? I got some in a bag of bits from a trade and I have no idea what they are. A google search of "oop lascannon" didn't help so I'm assuming it's not that.

It's an autocannon.

More specifically, now that I'm not typing on my phone, I'm reasonably sure it's from the IG heavy weapon team. Should be a fairly easy conversion if you're looking to make one yourself.

Yup. Plastic autocannon from the imperial guard heavy weapon teams. Relatively modern.

The older autocannons had a box magazine fitted to the upper rear receiver instead of the drum that that one has.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I much prefer the Forge World "upgrade" autocannon. It's much nicer looking.

Actually I'm glad it's an IG autocannon... I'll make a heavy weapons team out of them (I have 2...)... Thanks gang.

Or even better, 10 man DA dev squad, 4 auto cannons, 5 ablative wounds, sarge with signum, prescience libby and his command squad with banner of devastation and 5 bolters.

Rapid fire, that'd work out at....well, NEARLY enough dakka.

Oh and I forgot, 2 5 man tactical squads just to make it legal lol.

For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

With finecast you can bypass the washing stage and throw them straight into the bin.

Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.
