Or since this wasn't announced, it was found, the more likely scenario is that they aren't done yet.

Are the codexes sold through the BL site official?

Seriously, why would these suddenly NOT be official? They're still being written by the same people, just posted on a different site that is also owned by GW.

Sorry, I forgot the sarcasm.

You can use the same logic to say with certainty that dataslates and Forgeworld are official. It's pretty hard to take the FAQs but not take the dataslates with it.

So...anyone managed to find the non-English FAQs?

Too bad they didn't take this opportunity to provide a link solely for rules-related questions/possible FAQ amendments. Might make things more easily manageable for future FAQs if they continue to update them.

Oh I do think they're official.

I also think the rulebook supports homebrew.

Yeah, I'm "that guy" who thinks the game has a lot more freedom and versatility than most people actually act like it does.

Oh goody, someone is claiming now that the Tau FAQ is gone, everybody can take shielded missile drones again..

Everyone seems to be missing this:

"On this page you’ll find all current updates to the print editions of Games Workshop’s range of Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey games.
These documents bring the print editions up to date with any recent rules or amends to their digital edition.
Where a book does not have an FAQ's and Errata document, none have yet been issued"

So for the Tau FAQ refer to your technological iPad superiors.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Let me quote that again in the big ass blob of text above the FAQs

I'd rather they wait a month for all TFG's to model that broken build just to have it undermined* . I never understood the desire to build an expensive army based on a loophole, it's such a bad idea.

*For the record I don't actually want anyone's army to be invalidated.... Can we get a sarcasm orkmoto yet?

Nope. Uncle Sam owns mine in the event of an uprising in Hell resulting in a daemonic legion being unleashed on the Earth. I've resorted to "borrowing" souls from the homeless to get by.

In a more on topic thing, I'm doubting we'll see an update this weekend because of an email I got back from Customer Service regarding something else I was emailing them about:

Hello,

Thanks for writing in to us! Our offices will be closed Friday April 18th in observance of Good Friday. We will be back in office on Monday the 21st. We will work to complete your email and respond to you as fast as we can.

My apologies for the inconvenience.
