The idea is to run Zahn, Obyron, the Dlord and all the spyders and scarabs together for a CC nightmare then fly my Night scythes around putting down shots on units not engaged in CC with my death star
at turn 3 or so start unloading my warriors for more shots and to take and hold objectives. I plan on abusing Zahndrekh's ability to let me deepstrike on an opponents turns and Obyrons ability to let me teleport around the table. with at least 3 of my spyders attached to him. Thoughts, ideas, improvements and criticism are all welcome. Haven't actually built or played this list just figured id tried to take the best of both worlds when it comes to competitive necron armies.

If you dropped the Warrior squads to 5 men you could fit in another 2 planes by dropping 2 scarabs.

What are you planning to DS? I'm not seeing much in your list that you can deepstrike. They have to have the rule to use that ability.

Obys walk is okay, but you need to be mindful of where Zandy is when you use it. If they assault him... and oby is off on the other side of the map he will dip out and leave the spyders to slog accross the map on their own.

A couple of thoughts, one of the power of scarabs is their speed and getting through terrain... You should be spawning as much as you can... then sending them after something.. use Oby to DS a spyder unit up to replenish if you need...

Zandy should be stripping buffs off folks. ( mostly hit and run and stealth) so the scarabs can tie them up.

Zandrekh Obyron and the DLord all join the same unit of Spyders. It is called Spyderstar.

I prefer to have the 10 man squads just in case. 5 seems to easy to wipe off the table should things go wrong for whatever reason. And yeah the idea was to spyderstar with alot of flyers.... and I have 4 flyers that can deepstrike whenever I want them too that seems pretty good to me.

Flyers don't have the DS rule any more.. they faq'd that off.

Good list, but I think you misunderstood Flying Circus, which is FMC spam with Daemons. This is just Spyderstar with Cron Air.

Ah ok well im new to crons and GWs new site doesnt have the FAQs up anymore so I just went off of what was in my dex. Wonder why they took it off? Well anyway thought it was a neat idea but I guess its back to the drawing board.

doesnt matter anyway. I was just informed no more deepstrike on the night scythes so yeah gonna have to change up the list some.
