Dakka is just fine, just pray you never need to fight ig or tau with this list. They get heavy weapons for next to nothing and can start to roll out shooting phases almost immediately

Is the Archon naked? I suggest giving him a Venom Blade and at least a Ghostplate Armour. It would be sad to let him die the moment somebody looks at him funny.

You know that Venom has a capacity of 5, not 10?

There are 2 good ways of running Kabalite Warriors I know of, that is:
- 5 Kabalite Warriors with 1 Blaster + Venom with Splinter Cannon
- 10 Kabalite Warriors with 1 Splinter Cannon + Raider with Splinter Racks (and Night Shields would be nice)

Razorwing should be brutal in such a low-points game.

What does Dakka think of the new, LEGAL list?

Looks good. However, if you have only 10 pts. to spare for a Razorwing's upgrade, I strongly recommend taking the Flickerfield. The fighter is virtually made from cardboard, 5++ save helps it keep soaring in the sky.

I'd try to squeeze in a pair of ravagers and cut the flyer. That way against mech, you get your lances turn1 and they're also pretty solid vs termie units.

Or feth all reason and replace that Archon (who I assume is just walking around the battlefield...?) with Kheradruaka. Then replace the razorwing with a ravager with night fields and make up those 30 points by either dropping 2 blasters or 3 splinter cannons.

Either way you can't just have that Archon walking around with his head up his ass.

Need the flyer defense. This is for my school league list (If you are a brit you know about it if not then it's an inter school warhammer tournament) and fliers are actually very common. They where the bane of my existence last time...

Is there any particular reason why you're taking a Raider to transport your 3 incubi rather than putting them in a Venom? It's not to bash your choice but I'm new to the game of WH40k, play Dark Eldar and am trying to get some insight into the choices everybody makes in their army lists.

Another Venom would be highly advised in that case, unless you already have the Raider model or just really want to get one.

Fair enough. There's no point in taking everything "optimal" if you won't enjoy using the stuff.

Also, you might consider switching the incubi for wyches (unless you really like the units and all, whatever, they are sick models). You can field twice the amount of wyches, plus get a venom blade on your archon (would really improve his damage potential), they actually get a +4 invulnerable save in close combat (though they will get shot to pieces otherwise), they get plasma grenades (try attacking a unit in cover with incubi who must face overwatch and attacking last) and they count as scoring units. Also, I always prefer void ravens to razorwings. They have better defense and are better anti air (and the void bomb is pretty cool as well).

OK, I'll consider wyches and see what the list will loook like. I haven't bought any models yet (I am really new to DA) so I still like to keep it relatively cheap (£125 area).

Just buy a battleforce and a couple of ravagers.

Or buy the carnival of pain boxset.

The battleforce is more expensive than buying my army box by box. Here is the wych list...

This army will cost me 132.50 without codex. (Which I actually haven't got I'm going of battlescribe the rulebook reference and 1d4chans tactica)

Wyches need Haywire Grenades, the only thing they should ever assault is a vehicle as they are pathetic in CC.

Remember to stick ghostplate on that archon. You could also go for a hammy with a flesh gauntlet and animus (great for challenges and tokens, or pick a mindphase gauntlet and give wracks a liquifier gun) and stick it with a unit of 6 wracks instead of wyches. At that point it really depends on the models you like.

After bugging my cousins for years now to let me have his unsed WH40k army i finally talked him into it! I'm getting his Dark Eldar and im pumped to use it in action.

Here is his list of everything me has, since im new to the Dark Eldar race i was wondering if i could get some help figureing out an army list. i saw earlier in this thread that Dark Eldar worst nightmares are agaisnt IG and space marines. Anyways here is his list of models:
